I am Bhutanese and here are a few things I thought might need some minor corrections 1. You are provided a local guide. But he or she does not have to be with you all the time. You can ask them to leave you alone and they will especially on thimphu. When traveling to other places these licenced guides are required. 2. We do import a lot of seasonal vegetables,fruits, rice and meat. But local produce sells at a premium and is always better tasting. There is a goal to be 100% organic though. 3. There are four airports in the country. But only one international airport in paro. 4. People are not allowed to keep animals in the basement anymore. It's been like 15 years now. It's not very hygienic. Also an interesting fact . We use chillies as a vegetable and not as a spice . It's eaten in huge amounts and in all forms. Powdered, dried,boiled and then dried, beaten to a pulp , compacted or just plain raw

@jins76335 жыл бұрын
Eliazar Avanceña no its not. Ask any knowledgeable person and everyone will say Bhutan is not part of India. Do you know politics??!! Every country have relationships with each other, it’s a give and take situation. India’s India and Bhutan is Bhutan. They have know say in whatever Bhutan does. The two countries are friends. Bhutan isn’t the only country that depends on India m, just like India isn’t the only country Bhutan depends on. Why do u thing Kong’s, presidents and Prime Ministers of different countries and have meetings?!!! It’s for relationships building. If we go with ur logic, that means all country depending on India falls under India. If u have anymore doubts, come at me or u can just google it for a faster information cuz for now I’m going to sleep and can only reply tomorrow. Good night(though I don’t know if it’s night or morning or afternoon or evening 🤣)

But Bhutan does prohibit so many things. Nobody is free to be in love with who they want, no foreigners, no homosexuality. They have to follow traditional rules, wear clothing that is assigned to them. Sounds a lot like a dictatorship, but because they receive all these benefits, free healthcare, land and the ability to grow their own food, the people who live there won't see the controlling aspect. And i actually think in this case that being so strict has created a great place, no chemicals, no pollution, thats amazing! But there also needs to be more acceptance for their people and more freedom allocated to the. Also just curious, is there a jail or prison there? And how many criminals they get or if its a really low percentage

@@hemasingh8033 Not every country. It's quite difficult for foreigners to find work in most developing countries. Only developed countries have such an open door policy. Also, I'd be surprised if Bhutan would allow Indians to easily acquire Bhutanese citizenship. Aside from the demographic changes this would cause, Bhutan would be swamped with people in a country with limited land resources this simply wouldn't be feasible. India being home to almost 1/5 of humanity that would be a silly thing for Bhutan to consider. Would make more sense if Bhutan only opened residency to Europeans, because there are only 2/3 the number of Europeans living in all European countries combined compared to India. Of course that's not going to happen either, because Bhutan is concerned primarily with the happiness of it's people and not foreigners. I'd also be surprised if there were many economic opportunities for foreigners in Bhutan other than in a few limited industries such as tourism, agriculture and mining (assuming the government allows the latter).

Nepali is following Chinese culture unlike Bhutan who firmly holding thier culture. I'm listening that Chinese language is now compulsory in Nepal. Is this true? Earlier My perception about Nepal is like place of peace, monks (like Bhutan) but now it seems like Chinese colonies. BTW All the Best for better future Hope one day Nepal understand the importance of culture and became like Bhutan. 💖 from 🇮🇳

The cheapest way would be travelling to Siliguri(W.B) by train and by Sumo from there on. You will find shared Sumo in Siliguri.

Bhutan is amazing! It's so pretty. I want to visit. My grandfather immigrated from Bhutan to America years ago. I would love to see it in person!
