Think of this: Black holes have gravity so strong even light can not escape it... As a student of quantum theory and philosophy I find this subject fascinating. Now Imagine this: Because of the microscopic/macroscopic scale of our known universe, how do we know that our macroscopic universe isn't actually micro to a further macro universe and organisms as we know them are merely microbes in a much larger body? Protons and planets are natural spheres, our macro universe could be the atomic structure of something much greater. Looking at human history and its overall utter disregard for its environment we, as humans may even be a virus in that body.. And if that's so, what happens when we leave our solar system and start digging around and the body realizes we're in it. It would be just a matter of time before the antibodies of the body's immune system comes for us.. "Alien Invasion?" That's my theory, and a terrifying one at that. And could actually tie together theories 12, 8, 3 and of course the fermi paradox as well. Thought I'd throw that out there for you. Thanks for the great video! :)

I have thought this as well. The stars are like electrons and galaxies like atoms. Together they make up our universe that is but a molecule to a bigger universe. That is why although we perceive a 3 dimensional world the universe as a whole is like a sheet of paper and mostly flat. That’s already been proven as fact. So if the universe is flat like paper we could all be the story that God or whatever superior being you believe in is writing in his book. Then it would be true his or her higher dimensional self could interact with us but not vice versa. The other pages to the book would forever be a mystery to us unless we figure out a way to travel to the other side of page or to a different page.

I always think about the Fermi paradox when looking at our cats. I mean they see us move furniture like it's nothing, do stuff with our phones, gaming consoles, TVs and computers and they probably don't get any of what's going, so I keep wondering if there's another civilization that it may be impossible for us to comprehend just like our cats cannot comprehend so much about us even though they live right here with us, or as the video suggested, ants looking at humans and vice versa. It's truly fascinating. I gotta say that most if not all of the theories here are mind-blowing, I've heard of a lot of them before, but it's great to find them all gathered in one video. I'm pretty sure many of those have the potential to be true. Maybe our universe is not a simulation, but maybe one day we'll create a video game where the characters are self-aware and they wouldn't know they're in a simulation.

Lets clear one thing up. Black holes are not holes at all. Its really the worst possible name for them because it confuses people. People start to think of black holes as some kind of cosmic drain like in your sink or a giant vacuum cleaner. Its not. A black hole is really just a giant ball of extremely dense matter. Its a sphere not a hole. The reason it sucks things in is because of its gravity, but its no different from the Earth or sun in that matter other than the gravity is much stronger. Now what makes it black is the fact that the gravity is so strong that the photons ( light) cannot escape. It physically absorbs all the light that gets near it. It probably will also generate huge amounts of heat due to the compression of matter which means it likely emits larges amounts of light as well but most of it is drawn back in. The only way that we know blacks holes are there is by observing the gravitational influence that they have on stars.

What I mean is that they weren’t seen per se, but more like we saw the possibility of them existing. But now that we know, in a simplistic explanation, they are just matter compacted in a small place, it’s odd to even propose that theory. I use to believe that theory, when I was 7.

I have found thru books it's based on how we see light. Animals can see what we cant. My sister has always seen spirits she 38. I'm 37. She can describe them. I will tell you a story about my first time on Mushrooms. They say that the people around you make a difference, and the environment you're in. Either way, I think it's a state of a persons mentality and understanding of what they believe. But I had the worst first trip of my life. I won't go into details. I'll just end by saying that... by the end of it. I told my friends I had to go home. I couldn't handle it at that point. It was alright at first, but progressively got worse. I was curled in the fetal position on a futon, trying to sleep and having flashbacks of every and any memory I could ever possibly remember, and a lot that literally, didn't remember until I remembered them. If that makes sense. So all of these flashbacks had me convinced... somehow... That they were all dreams that I had while I was tripping. And at that moment, I completely and 100% thought that my whole life was actually this trip and that all of those memories... never existed. It was pretty frightening. And yes, drugs were involved, but when you talk about hallucinating.. what makes you think mushrooms are needed? Or any psychadellic. So considering that stimulation can be added from outside, maybe if we are just brains in a jar... we're experiments. And we're all in our own little controlled environment. They add certain things to one jar. Watch the affects it has. Others, they leave be, and others, maybe they even take out of the jar completely.

the 4th dimension is time. As Einstein proved we live in space-time, 3 special dimensions 1 time dimension. So you need to be talking about the 5th dimension upwards. The problem with that idea is that 5, 6, 7-11th dimensions a lot of them are really small and squashed according to all variations of string theory and they are no different to our dimensions, just extra ones. And remember all those other hypothetical dimensions are still physical. If we survive after death, outside our body, that will mean that we have some kind of immortal soul or spirit, a non physical form. Would you really wish to remain in the physical reality when you don't have a body? You won't be able touch anything. The immortal soul/spirit if it exists which I believe it does, must go to a spiritual realm, a completely non physical realm.

i have to correct you there, regretfully, with the utmost of respect. I too once, when ignorant saw time as not being a dimension, but merely a made up human concept to measure entropy. But Einstein's general relativity and special relativity says there are 3 spacial dimensions and one time dimension. General relatrivity has been experimentally and mathematically proven time and time again, and is accepted by the entire scientific community as the model by which to study the cosmos.You are walking along the time dimension right now,, iit goes forwards, but not back. The fabric of reality is the space-time fabric. Anything that affects space affects time. For example gravity is the curving of space time fabric by an object of great mass, e.g. the earth or the sun, or jupiter, which is why we have gravity on earth which is strongest on the ground, but weaker when you go higher up in the atmosphere. Atomic clocks have been put on high mountains and a control one in a lab, and they always show different times because gravity is less on a mountain so time which is part of space is less warped. In the case of black holes this is taken to extreme, a person goign through a black hole would appear to the observer to freeze, but the person would perceive themselves still travelling through the event horizon until they would be torn apart by the intense gravity of the collapsed star. Time for the person going through the black hole virtually stops, so the observer sees the person freeze. Again, this is the standard model of physics. Accepted by the scientific community. Anybody who treats time as being merely entropy, or an illusion is outside of evidence based science, and basing their conclusions on pseudo science. All of these very interesting hypotheses on this video for example are speculative, unproven. And most rhere is no method to prove them. We have no method to test for bubble universes or parallel universes. The simulation hypothesis has been recently disproven by a team of scientists from Tel Aviv university and another univeristy which i can't recall right now. Mathematics disproved it, because quantum spins of electrons, even a few hundred spins requires more atoms than there are in the entire universe. Such a simulation would therefore be impossible to run. I do though encourage thinking about these hypotheses in a philosophical way as it engages the mind, it gets people thinking deeply about reality instead of the mundane banal matters.

Take a Roman and bring him to the modern age; while a very overwhelming experience, he or she would likely grasp the purpose of modern highways, and of course our modern plumbing. Intelligence is able to recognise intelligence. Aliens not bothering to contact us because of how primitive we are is also bad reasoning, because it relies on ALL members of ALL alien civilisations doing that. Most of us don't see any point contacting the primitive tribes left on earth, but there are those who take the effort. Even if only a sliver of a fraction of an alien civilisations population were on the missionary path, that's all you need. In real terms, that could translates to missionary fleets of many 100s or 1000s of ships from a single K2 civilisation.

7 billion people is nothing compared to the area of earth you probably have seen hypothetical scenarios where you can fit the entire human population in the city of los angeles if crammed together shoulder to shoulder, the only problem is the usage of natural resources & pollution that we create not area.
