Thanks for the great guide! To add to that: Brig is very strong in many 1-on1 fights. 1-on-1s that she wins 95% of the time (both players starting at full health and without Ult): Soldier 76, Genji, Tracer, Baptiste, Mercy, Ana, Lucio, Kiriko, Zen, Sigma, D-VA (if you can tease out and dodge her rockets), Ashe/Widow (if the fight doesn't start 100m away), Zarya (though the fight can take forever) 1-on-1s that she loses 95% of the time: Junkrat, Reinhardt, Pharah, Junker Queen

@@TheSpartanlaw at any range. if you put the two characters in a one-on-one who wins. put a soldier 76 200 meters away and he still will die against brig easily and will never get to kill her without ult. i never died in a soldier 76 or genji duel ever unless they had their ult. same with the others I've mentioned. they have almost no way of getting through her while she can just push closer/shield/attack/repeat and win the duel.

I think Brig is SUPER good right now. Since ultimate reduction, Her ultimate is great for teamfights to engage and works as a defense ult now. The only issue I have is following the chaos as most of time I get focused down as Brig and pushed in bad positioning

At 12:50, Brig on the video bashes into the Orisa who is pretty much full health, so they do like 33 dmg, I believe. Later Orisa does ult and they don't have a shied bash. They survive (probably because of the ult), but it was a very poor usage of the shield bash.

True! Against Orisa it's key to know whether she has her Ult ready or not. If there is a chance that she can ult then shield bashing anywhere near Orisa is always a horrible idea. It's so rewarding to shield bash out of a Orisa ult :)

These guides make a bit more sense after playing a bit more of the hero. About the most re-watchable thing I found on this site. Props to that Brig who just has wwwwwwwww as a username. I'm finding that with the "engage, disrupt, disengage, peel" style Brig actually plays a lot like Kiriko - just a bit closer to her own team for protective angle control instead of aggressive angle control.

In case they randomly hit something and trigger inspire. Essentially there's no downside to it unless you're face checking into a oneshot

it doesn't bring a lot of utility because in OW 1 her ult would give armor instead of overhealt in OW2

Her ult got nerfed through her life in the game :like a lower armor /overhealth , lower healing , higher cost , changed armor to overhealth , Her ow2 ult is a massive nerf for her utility At this point it feels like a worse lucio ult and it is too similar his ult , it would be nice for her ult to be something different
