Brilliance of the Seas Cruise Ship Review - Royal Caribbean

A review of our vacation onboard the Royal Caribbean ship, Brilliance of the Seas. We spent 12 nights in a grand suite as we sailed through the Baltic Sea from Amsterdam to St Petersburg, Russia. Although the boat is a little dated we had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the perks that are given to suite guests. This review shares details about the onboard amenities, dining, the suites, etc.

Try Celebrity Cruises next! Check into them for just you and your husband , they do offer some kids things though. Celebrity is the sister line of Royal Caribbean. Celebrity is in the Modern Luxury sector of cruising. I’ve sailed Celebrity twice and loved them! However, next year we are sailing on the brilliance of the seas on a Mediterranean cruise. Looking forward to it. And thank you for the review. And Celebrity Edge and Captain Kate McCue on Celebrity are awesome ! Captain Kate McCue is the first American woman to be ever captain of a major cruise line . She was in NY Times and on the red carpet so yeah she is famous and I got to meet her as well which was so cool! 😊

Just came back from a cruise to the British Isles on this ship! It was so fun! I know that Minstrel dining room well😆 Did they have that Dancing with the Stripes competition when you were there?

I’ve sailed the brilliance twice. I couldn’t imagine being on that ship for 12 nights.. yikes way too dated and small for that. But great review.

Yeah it's super dated BUT we had so many port stops that we got off the ship a lot. If there were a bunch of days at sea I think we would have gone crazy.

I enjoyed the video very much, but I prefer my promenade where it is supposed to be, that is outside and called the promenade deck (although many of them have disappeared from many ships) thank god there are some cruise ships still hat have a promenade deck I go to cruise to sea the ocean not shops which we have in local malls do not need it at sea.

I am looking a 7 night Eastern Mediterranean cruise (Greek islands and Croatia) and this is the ship we would be on. The stops/places we would visit are perfect for us but looking at reviews online notice it is a little older in style and amenities. As first time cruisers and a couple, do you think this would be a good place to start as we would like a balcony? Sadly we can't find a more updated ship with the stops that you get on this cruise. Thanks for your video, it was helpful.

All ships get updated from time to time even the latest ships. Nothing wrong with this ship why people call a older ship u[date is beyond comprehension. Most if not all of so-called luxury ships are far far smaller.

@@dlgregory35 We have no problem with this as we have actually booked this ship for 2022. I was just curious, I have no idea why people say this either as a first time cruiser so wanted to know.
