He is a delight to watch when in full flow. Unless Pak develop some aggressive batters who could bat around him, Pak will struggle. Babar can't be the aggressor and the anchor at the same time.

You should watch him bat in 2019. He was really aggressive while playing conventional shots, I think he made 98 in 110 balls under lights in a pink ball test match. Hit 10 fours to steyn in 3 overs on an up and down surface at the wanderers and his t20 batting in South Africa was remarkable, but after that he changed his technique and became a completely different batsman.

The other end cant even keep their wicket even if they try to do so. So if he couldnt play rough shots. He just went full precision, textbook classic, and the most beautiful shots ever in history to shape innings. Yes but maybe these guys don't practice the big shots as much Don't need fancy shots like Surya But if they follow this rule and practice these below 1. Put every shot ball for a sixer 2. Put away every full ball for a sixer 3. Ensure to get minimum a single of every good length ball or Yorker 4. Good length but wide - put away for a boundary 5. Spinner shot and wide - put away for a boundary 6. Excellent swinging straight ball on Good length - Defend or try to drop and run 7. Excellent turning spinning ball - Defend or try to drop and run 8. Attempt for a sixer on the side there are no fielders in the boundary - this reduces probability of mistiming it and getting out. But alway look for the six. Check the consistency of hitting. How often you are mistiming it and try to enhance on it If they practice these and expertise these, their strike rates will be way above 100 every single time. Because every bowler makes a mistake (barring greats like Bumrah)
