The crowd do cross the line sometimes but 99% of the time they make atmosphere, lack of atmosphere killed the BDO, lack of atmosphere is killing snooker, etc etc. Darts is a fantastic sport and the thought that it would be same with a small crowd of respectful applauding pensioners is just cringe.

Ricardo showed some real mental weakness here. not that i would be any better, my game drops by 50% just playing with another human 😂 but still i do believe at the level he is playing now he needs to work on that. he fought the crowd more than he tried to fight Beau. he even started to celebrate when he hit 1 treble a visit

Beau Greaves is astonishing. She can be a real problem once she gets her Tour card and plays regurarly on the PDC Tour. I dont think anyone wants to be facing her. Heta has his hands full on Tuesday. Price was scintillating today. That match finished so quick, if anyone went for a toilet break and came back, they would think its still on the break after that match finished.

As a German I was obviously rooting for Pietrecko but after his breakdown I can only congratulate Beau Greaves for her well deserved victory. She didn‘t get irritated by Pietrecko‘s embarrasing breakdown and just played the better darts. I actually really like Ricardo usually, but the way he reacted to the bad behaviour of the crowd was really hard to watch.

Yes, if it happens again. This first time we should cut him some slack, three reasons. 1 Getting beaten by a girl (some men hate that idea) 2 Expecting to do well in the Grand Slam and facing early defeat. Does anyone know the possible reason why there aren't dozens of women that can play at Beau Greaves level? I guess my real question is why don't more women play as well as men? I understand the early motivation may not be as strong as organized boy's leagues. The money may not be motivating, but the PDC will hand anyone the trophy if you hit the last double. Bravo for the PDC and its leadership! It can't be a physical thing ... throwing a 22 gram dart less than 8 feet isn't hard for any healthy person. Is it mental? That is the hardest and most important area to master. Looking for only honest comments, but I expect some humor.
