Don't forget. you can also buy a Rotherham book to fish the River Don, upstream of the weir at Sprotboro, & other venues on The Don. These can also be fished on a day ticket, which you can buy on the bank on the day of your fishing.

Thorne canal isn’t under the Doncaster book. Thorne book is £20 ish for the year, Jan - Dec👍

Very true, i don't know why people drive 70-80 mins to the Oaks, Hallcroft etc commercial fishing where you are so hemmed in with other Anglers. All you look at all day is other Anglers, all you hear all day is other Anglers! There is so much more to fishing than big weights.

@@dalesmoocher6861 I couldn't agree with you more, Fishing is about going fishing, Now I've retired, And I want to go fishing as much as I can, And I should have done this years ago, I go local, And i have joined 4 local clubs, And i have 5 Waters to fish, And they are no more than a 15-minute drive, It cost me £110 a year to join the 4 clubs, I go fishing at least twice a week in the winter, And in the summer it's more like four times a week, If not more, How much would that cost on a commercial, And because I can go as many times as I want, My fishing has definitely improved, But one thing about club Waters, You have to learn how to fish them, And that makes it more interesting.
