ooga is like the best expression for bad chess that is so shortsighted, its like a caveman plays. we say it mostly when there are attacks that can be easily blocked (and maybe even force a retreat). a typical 'ooga' move would be bg5 (to attack the queen, with nf3 as defender) or a rook attacking a bishop (and nothing else, not infiltrating nor gaining space) and the bishop can easily move somewhere else even without losing tempo. i love saying 'ooga booga me attack'
