Jordan Ayew, he is one of the players Ghana can witness once in a century. The only problem is that he is not serious about playing. When he decides to play he is a Monster

The pitch is very bad for possessive football. You can’t pass unless you use long balls and that’s the reason why they got 3 goals

The analysis was wrong on the second goal. What Salisu should have done was pulled back not try to win the ball. Let Alidu run and cover the goal scorer. If that had happened, we would at worst-case have 2 against 2; Salisu and Gideon against two CAR players. Post the goal, you could see Partey complaining to Salisu why he rushed to mark the goal scorer. A similar scenario occurred between Arsenal v. Bayern in the champions league in the Emirate Stadium. This time it's Rice who rushed to close down and Bayern ended up scoring their second goal. Defenders/midfielders don't have to rush to close down when the offense is barreling down on goal, pull back and form a backline and force the offense to make decision. The offense may or may not make the right decision but if go like Salisu or Rice and you get beaten it's easier for the offense to score. The normal human instinct to go and win the ball but you've to train your players not to do that. Thierry Henry summarized this in his brilliant analysis of Chelsea-Bayern game.

Kudus has no shots, all his shots were directed to the goal keeper as if there were no bones in his legs, if his strength is not enough, why not dribble your way through to be brought down and win a penalty kick or pass to someone else, instead of passing the ball to their goal keeper because all his shots were like passing the ball to their goal keeper. Please let's work on this as well as learning how to chip the ball over the goal keepers. Our style of playing in the second half 👌 wasn't bad but their central player is a real good runner we need someone who can run and slide to clear the ball always making sure that his legs will touch the ball always to prevent falls and penalty kicks.We also need to learn how to take penalty kicks per every player.

Unfortunately the pitch is not nurtured for our passing game...that's why they didn't pass the ball around when we expected to do by managing the game

Salis was hiding - he wasn't making himself available for a pass to start the build up. He can't even control the ball when he receives it.

This has been my analysis for long time. Playing two dip dm in the midfield area. Poor tactics from the first half. One problem is our defenders. Poor defenders who can't play ball. Cubasi will teach you how to pass . We have to find box to box midfielder to partner partey and drop salis .simple to go.
@angelmcberry9564
@angelmcberry9564 12 күн бұрын
Exactly cause Partey and Salis are playing the same role which is not helping us therefore we need a proper number 8 to be carrying the ball to the attackers and drops back to join partey when we lose the balls 🙏

Forson Amankwah could have perfectly fit in that formation since he’s used to the 2 pivots role at his club.Clearly,Thomas Partey and Salis combo isn’t working.

In the CAR second goal Alidu could have allowed Salisu to clash the player then bypass salisu to run back just incase he loose the clash. That would have allowed him to easily get the ball after the ball fell free to Mafuta...but rather he chose to go straight to push the attacker in the back causing him to clash heavily into Salisu, himself ending on the floor leaving the ball to freely move away for the incoming Mafuta to pick it up n score. They should understand that Defending is not all about gidigidi n mischief tackles, most times you have to think critically before you enter a tackle.
