Integrated 5 year BSc MSc course കഴിഞ്ഞ കുട്ടിക്ക് എന്ത് ജോലി കിട്ടും എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഐഐടി, IISc, ISSER എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ജോലി കിട്ടുമെന്ന് തള്ളരുത്. ഇവിടെയൊക്കെ teaching faculty ആകണമെങ്കിൽ PhD + Post Doc ഉം വേണം. അതായത് 5 വർഷം ഈ കോഴ്സ്, 6 കൊല്ലം PhD പിന്നെ 3 കൊല്ലം Post Doc . ആൺകുട്ടികളുടെ ഭാവി പോയിക്കിട്ടും ഇത്രയും വർഷം പഠിച്ചാൽ. 10% ത്തിന് പോലും faculty position കിട്ടില്ല. ഇത് പഠിച്ചാൽ കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഏത് വകുപ്പിൽ ജോലി കിട്ടും എന്ന് പറയണം. Private jobs ന് photonics കാരനെത്തന്നെ വേണമെന്നില്ല. MSc physics കാരനും മതിയെന്ന് advertisement ൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്.

Cet EC student here if you stidy relevant topics for companies like texas instruments analog devices etc. You will get placement there with highest package. Then there are IT oppurtinities if you know how to code. There is another company boach but do not attend they havent onboarded 2023 batch yet.

Always better to stick to general branches at graduation level. Super specialisation is only recommended in post graduation. If you chose these emerging fields and don't get placed / demand doesn't grow as you expect, you may not even have many options to choose from to do PG or to get a job. Unless you are doing it from a top institute like IIT, don't go for any emerging field for graduation. CSE would be a lot safer.

​@@augustine76, I'm a little sceptical why Brilliant team is promoting & posting so many videos on CUSAT in particular..... With the current higher education situation in Kerala & negative publicity around Cusat after the fest deaths of the students recently, the attractiveness of Cusat seems to have reduced. If Brilliant team wanted to promote knowledge they can also have these detailed promotions with faculty of other institutions like Amrita or IIIT etc
