IMO that show was actually kind of bad. I mean we've seen plots like this done before a billion times, and the writing just had too many ass pulls and plot holes. Like IDK why would Brina's character want to stay on the swim team when they tried to kill her? Plus, I really don't like how the CW perceives the show's message. I feel the show says, you can be an alien and hated for your species, but people will fall in love with you as long as you look like an abecrombie and fitch model. Seriously, why couldn't the aliens be ugly? There are women out there who think they're not beautiful because they don't look like abecrombie and fitch models. They think they're too fat, and they think their faces are ugly. Why can't more shows try to boost self esteem? Especially since that show was targeted at teenagers.
