So for those who are still confused as to what JSS is, jayden mcneil has a video on it, but from what I gather it seem that it is a technique used for solving the second slot into the front-right (when the back-left pair is solved) but with a twist. The most important thing is that you don't necessarily fix the cross after inserting the pair (e.g. a sledge insert might just be R' F R and omit the last f'). You then solve the BR pair 2-gen (this edge should also be oriented). Finally, you solve the FL pair, but since the cross is an F move away from being solved, this FL pair won't go into a slot, but will pair with the DF edge (currently "misaligned" at FL due to using the JSS when solving FR) on the U layer before doing an F' to insert it whilst correcting the cross+FR pair (aka the dFr square).

What's your opinion about CFOP rotationless? Is that good?
@BrinaSunАй бұрын
its good in most cases, unless you get a pair where the best solution requires a rotation
@kennedylewickiАй бұрын
@@BrinaSun you mean 3-mover solution?
@BrinaSunАй бұрын
@@kennedylewicki no, all 3 movers should be done rotationless some cases like y R U2 R' U' R U R' have no better solution than to just rotate
@Luna77543Ай бұрын
@@BrinaSun Surely y R* U* R* is better than F* U* F* often. It just depends on where you want to be facing for the next pair. (If you’re going have to rotate right back obviously F* U* F* is better whereas if you’ll have to rotate next anyway obviously you should just rotate early and do y R* U* R).
@BrinaSunАй бұрын
@@Luna77543 F U F is always better than R U R if its last pair if its second to last pair then it depends on if you need to do a rotation after FUF if you do then just do yRUR
