I was introduced to your channel thanks to MADTv. I really enjoy the adv content with a smaller bike. I'm not a particularly small guy myself, but I'm a fan of the lighter adv bikes. Hoping to use a honda xr650l as one.

Good call not taking that side track on the last section heading up towards Two Sticks - once you drop into that gully the other side is a long steep clayey hill which could be a struggle to get up in the wet (particularly with bigger/loaded bikes).

Was hanging out for this, very enjoyable video beautiful places will have to have a look. It just takes a little bit of rain to make an average track a real adventure. Just came back from the high country similar conditions with your last track with the clay mist etc so being banged up from some of the d tracks I decided to give it a rest and come back to SA for some sand therapy 😂. @ShonkyProductions2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kevin, it took all I had to stay upright when the front end lost traction. Dave was very close to drowning the 990, luckily he killed the ignition just as it was going down so the motor stayed dry. Some water entered the exhaust... he was lucky. And, no... I didn't enter that water as up ahead the next creek crossing was too deep, so Dave had to come back.

Been waiting for a 300L Rally at the dealer. They had a few non-abs bikes, which quickly sold. How much is abs a factor for you? With supply line and demand issues, I'm contemplating a AJP PR7, which may be available soon from a local dealer. It seems like a larger Rally and might be a decent option - just a bit heavier, but a simple bike and reliability seems to be good with the new fueling unit.
@ShonkyProductions2 жыл бұрын
HI Michael, I've disabled my ABS so it's not a factor for me at all. The AJP PR7 looks like a great bike too. It's just a pity that they don't have more dealers or bikes available.
