so if I have a rigged vehicle, it won't look wierd? Do I have to manually path my vehicle rig around the plane?

not hating but you should group the nulls and camera and then orient the group so that the nulls are level with the z and x axis. once you do that then you can snap and move the objects how ever you want with out orienting them. its easier and keeps your scene clean and less complicated.
