nichelle's story is horrifying, its unbelievable that this happened 60 years ago but what is amazing is how she is so cavalier about it now!! I always loved Uhura, but I never knew what a powerful character she was and what impact she had, and the kiss, i watched it when i was like 10 and i thought nothing of it, it wasn't till later i discovered how controversial it was! God I love star trek, its very special to me as well!

What?? you don't like the 09 Star Trek movie? That movie introduced me to TOS, TNG, & DS9....I, like most people loved it! Rotten Tomatoes rates it in the high 90's, that's pretty good! Thankyou J.J Abrams...I hope your next Trek movie is as good as your 1st.

J.J Abrams made a GREAT Star Trek movie, I thought it was cool that he incorperated the original spock into the story.

It introduced me to,wich did help,it it was a piece of crap,and you can't seriously say it was accurate,it was anything but.Even my friend who grew up with the ST TOS movies AND liked the 09 movie says it wasn't really a star trek movie.
