Camryn has great leadership skills and she's very responsible and reliable from what I see. But I think people were against her because of how this whole captain thing turn out, cause first It was between Camryn and Tamia, then Crystiana, Camryn and Makalah. So people are going to wonder why she here and why she's doing that. And mostly because some of them knew that Tamia got the position first and they got confused.

Now her triumphant reign is ending. I'm really going to miss Camryn as captain. My favorite battle of hers is the 2016 battle royale semi fina v ID. The Dolls were so precise that battle. I also miss their rivalry!

If you search videos of Camryn on YT, you will see videos of her giving speeches and doing things OUTSIDE of the DollHouse. She was the BEST candidate for captain and she rightfully EARNED the position. I wholeheartedly believe her title wasn't earned off the basis of a "fan perceived friendship" between Coach D and Mimi, Camryn was a Doll inside and outside of the studio. She was given the position for being more than just a "pretty" face with a lot of "sass"! S/O to all of the #TeamTamia superfans....

Tamia superfans take things a little too far. If they’re a fan of Tamia that’s fine, but they try to act like Tamia fighting and bringing drama around the Dollhouse wasn’t a valid reason to get kicked off. And they act like Camryn was just the WORST candidate for captain when that’s not true. Camryn has proven herself time and time again that she deserved Captain. If Camryn would’ve danced like she did in Seasons 3, 4, and 5 when Tamia was still there, she would’ve gotten the position. They both lacked leadership skills at the time but even though Tamia was older, Camryn had a little more leadership skills than her. And when you tell them the truth, they act like it’s automatic shade on Tamia. Tamia was a good dancer, but you can’t deny the truth. We all know how Camryn got the position but it doesn’t matter. I still to this day think that she was the best candidate.

So I was here for Tamia at first but honestly, if I was running a dance organization I would want the captain to best represent everything that the organization embodies. Camryn is a great dancer and the fact that she is a great leader and she showed that by getting them warmed up and stretched which is awesome. I honestly think that ppl need to chill out. Camryn, Crystianna, and Makayla were all great candidates. And yes Crystianna has mostly everything that Ms D said Camryn has. Buhh they are the smurfs for a reason. They are basically they same. With different personalities and appearances. I honestly feel that camryn was the best out of them. It appeared to be people against her getting captain because of the way it was done! The journey and the procedure that you took was questionable and everybody was wondering what happened or how did this happen. People who watch the show are not stupid to put 2 and 2 together. Also at the same time, what is presented to us by the network is what they go after. Kayla wasn't like that either based on putting information together also. It was once she receive the captain position she grew and become the captain that you wanted and is the same thing you said about camryn here. I kind of see why lifetime uploaded this clip, one of the main reasons were because of what you said, "people were against her". Any of the girls who would have received this position, you would have said the same thing. Congratulations camryn, so far I've heard DD hasn't lost a battle this season.

Winston Vincent I don’t really like to compare because everyone is different and does things a different way. Kayla was a good captain, but I can’t even lie, the dolls got WAYYY cleaner and more precise after Camryn became captain. Yes, they had Torrey and YCDT to get them to up their technique, but Camryn also played a huge role in it. I feel like when Kayla was captain, the team fit her personality. The team had more swag, they had more aggressiveness, etc. When Camryn became captain, they boosted their technique, got cleaner, and added more tricks to their stands. The way the girls dance is basically a reflection of the captain. And yes even though Tamia did have the spot, I still don’t think she could’ve lead the team like Camryn did, I personally think she lacked leadership skills, but that’s just me 🤷🏽‍♀️

One thing I'm still stuck on, and this is a general statement not directed at the Original Poster, but when it was Tamia vs Camryn for the captain's spot, A LOT of people didn't think Cammie deserved it bc she was "too young" and thought "Tamia was a better fit bc she danced better than Camryn." Now when it came down to either smurf being selected as the new captain, the same people, if not more, who said Camryn was too young and simply unprepared for that big of a role, wanted Crystianna as the new captain. Cammie was 14 when she was going up against Tamia, but here Crystianna was 13, Camryn 15 and some were still saying Crystianna deserved it. I'm not saying age defines maturity or is a factor in this or any case, but ppl made it a factor just to find a reason to say Camryn didnt deserve the position, which to me and IMO, proved to me in more ways than one, that ppl hate on Camryn for no reason at all and try to find any and every reason to dislike her and tear her down. I still stand by my statement that either Smurf would've been a great fit for the position and seeing Cammie step up in the position and do all the things the doubters and naysayers say she couldnt do makes me a proud fan.

If often gets confused with baton twirling(regular majorette). It originated in the south during the battle of the bands. I see these types of comments all the time. Yes Chrystianna is a BEAST on the dance floor and she’s a powerful dancer. That’s undeniable. But like Ms. D said before, BEING CAPTAIN ISN’T JUST ABOUT BEING A GOOD DANCER. If that was the case, everyone in battle squad could’ve qualified. But they didn’t. Being captain, you also have to have good leadership skills on and off the dance floor. Chrystianna could lead a stand battle no problem, but at practice, she doesn’t show leadership skills. She doesn’t step up the the plate and take responsibility like a captain should. Chrystianna also struggled with solos and you can’t have that when you have things like Captains Battles. Btw I’m not throwing shade or anything I’m just giving reasons why she wasn’t picked.
