I remember at my cousin when I lived in St. Louis she liked this movie for whatever reason lol and I just remember growing up watching it. But it's one of my favorite 90s movies. I know it came out in the year 2000, but it still has the feeling of a 90's movie. I love those movies about school and you know popularity and all that stuff. And this one had a good story. I didn't really realize as a kid that Big Red was stealing from the Clovers and then they weren't getting a shot, not because they were black, per se, but because they were in Compton. Anyway the fact that they filmed this at like some Catholic boarding school kind of thing is hilarious because the director kept talking about how there were literally like nuns looking into the gym doors to see what they were doing because of the scene where the chick is dancing to Cherry Pie by Warrant. 😂😂 the more you know.
