Along with the fact that screaming is still musical. Anyone can just go up to a microphone and scream, but being able to replicate these sounds is talent. I think that uncleans aren't that much different than cleans; they are still vocals that require skill, one just demonstrates a lot more raw emotion. Some people like that, some don't. Personally, I do.

9 жыл бұрын
+McKayla Kemrer complete bullshit. The guys realized there was no money in Metal/DeathCore. They had to go a more sell-out way to sustain their rock-lives. His Vocals degraded over the years, due to incorrect technique, literally screaming his vocal chords out. They got busted, kind of fixed, and now.. they just don't work the same any more. So I guess they went the only way they could whilst continuing the bands career. Getting a Proper singer in there was a good choice, although I still hate the new sounds, they do produce quality material, as they did back then. Just a different target group, and just not my cup of tea. This shit was much more emotional, much more down to earth, straight up honest. The new shit is bloated with unneeded metaphors and simply not as 'straight from the heart'. Screaming has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol, or whatever. It's a release of pent up stress, that oli, sadly, did wrong. I vent the 'same' way, just with technique, and I can sustain it for nearly 5 hours straight, every other day. Have done so about 2 years, and am still refining my techniques.

+Steven Zissimos Bands evolve, deal with it. BMTH, as many other Metalcore bands, evolved. If they'd stuck to metalcore, everyone would be complaining about how they don't change, or don't make something new. Bands change, BMTH is no different, they're gonna do whatever they want in the studio, that's not for you to decide. So either you deal with it, or keep whining about it in the comments.
