You should always let your inspiration guide your music. You say you can't find inspiration to write songs; listen to songs and gain inspiration from them so you can do the same thing. Sometimes, when you have zero inspiration, its hard to write music but you can still do it. It just won't have much of your feeling in it. +James Edinborough i think it was like this: the bedroom sessions/this is what the edge of your seat was made for - lots of weed and alcohol, count your blessings - lots of alcohol and MDMA (in older interviews oli often refers to it), suicide season = the most extreme phase of being fucked up => trying coke and eventually getting addicted to ket, there is a hell = consequences of suicide season, being a depressed ket head, and from there on he sobered up and got were he is today
