Amazing cover man. A couple questions. Did you mod your guitar to use heavy strings for this tuning? If so what would you recommend? It's hard to get a good sound with regular guitars and regular strings tuned down. Also, what is the black thing you are using on the headstock and why?

I for one have an LTD EC-256 and only really used Les Pauls for metal they seem to work very well for that. In terms of strings, I use 62 gauge ones and they are tight mate you can easily play in drop tuning, no higher than drop C# though, I usually play in Drop A# and Drop C
