Read the Bible, good person. The Book of Acts records that the people who were there on the day of Pentecost heard the disciples speak in their native languages and "declare the wonderful works of God." No need for an interpreter on the day of Pentecost. The hearers WERE the interpreters,

The admonition that the apostle gave to the church regarding the use of tongues is clear. If you speak without an interpreter you should speak to yourself. The purpose of the gathering of the saints is that the group should be edified not merely one or a few persons. I grew up in the Pentecostal church in fact the church that your church came out of. I understand the Pentecostal experience, the traditions and the practices and they are often in conflict with the scriptures. One flaw of our churches is that we value traditions over the text. Prophecy is in the language of the majority of the hearers so is to be preferred over "languages: in the gathering of the local assembly unless there is interpretation. It is true that all churches are in conflict with scripture to a degree. Our objective ought to become without conflict with the scriptures. On this subject of tongues we are often in deliberate, willful conflict. Tongues are seen as a sign of spiritual maturity, heightened contact with the Spirit and "proof" that the speaker is under the "anointing." All false suppositions.

I wish you'd close the church/religion down. The church should be about three things: worship, praise and service to the needy/poor. Today's church and much of what was preached in the past is gossip and finger pointing. We have codes and laws that legislate character, morals and values. The church needs to stay in it's own lane.

Im sorry. I dont follow this teaching. nor do i respect its teaching. His points are false. You might get caught up in titles, but he put his pants on just like you and I. He spoke in tongue during the video. What did he say? How did you benefit? Yes, speaking in tongue is real. but its a prayer language, and should be spoke when led. but there should be an interpretation of the words. These robes are just ways the church create hierarchy. who's above who....but who really cares!
