We full time in the 383RBLOK and love it. Have had it for 6 plus months now and no major issues. I like the big bunk room but loose a lot of storage in the main area with that extra love seat and ours has a full bathroom in the back for the kids. Keep up the great videos. Enjoy watching them.

We just purchased the 372LOk Sandpiper mid bunk with several of the same amenities as this unit. Love it. One of my favorite features is mirror only above the bathroom sink so we’re not banging our head on a vanity. We have a king bed and central vac. JD, as always, great review!!

I’ve got a 2019 sandpiper with the mid bunk.... OMG!!! It’s falling apart after 1 year!!!!! Camping world sucks!!! And being here in Panama City Beach because of the hurricane this CW sucks a fixing anything. My warranty actually expired while CW and forest river were fighting over if the items are covered or not!! It’s not even 6 months into 2019!!!! And they won’t fix things. Yes I bought it in June of 2018 but it’s a 19 model you would think they would take care of the customers that bought their brand new model.

I have a 2019 373REBH. Owned it for a little over a year and it’s holding up better than the ‘17 Cherokee I had. Even with a cat dog and two adults living in it full time. I’m actually surprised. Just have to keep in mind it’s still has some parts made for/of camper materials. Custom ordered mine as well.

Jeremy Simpson dang. Hopefully it gets figured out. I’ve noticed one wall bowing but the way they flex going down the road it’s within my tolerance. Plus it’s just luan board for the most part. Converted the bunk room into an office area. I did the same thing with the bathroom faucet. Other than that I’m happy with my camper. I feel like I got a justifiable price for what I got.

Me too! Had significant issues. I learned that if you buy the Rte66 warranty, better get the clause added for coverage of consequential damage. The 5thousand dollar policy was worthless for me as they collect a 100 dollar deductible for a 2 dollar drain seal and I'm out of pocket for all the structural water damage.

First rule of thumb, buy a good known brand RV, if buying a new one, or really shop around for a used one and Google or you tube and research the one your looking at to find out what to look for. Like the old saying goes, you can put all the lipstick on a Pig, but, at the end of the day it's still a Pig, lol

It is a nice big 5th wheel but, I don’t much the kitchen living setup. I think you reviewed 1 toy hauler that I love but, I don’t remember the if it was made by Forest River or Keystone. As always thanks for sharing the review and your opinion JD.

You should take a look at the Jayco North Point 379BDFS. That’s what my family, Wife & 3 Kids live in while working on the road. This layout has bunks with a loft and also has two full bathrooms. We love it. It’s a monster of a camper though.

Hardest thing I've been fighting is TV placement vs open floorplan. We are a family of 5 so need some space when we travel, we like the older Road Warrior 427rw but since they changed the floorplan on newer models it looks just like every other toy hauler..this one is nice and great details on walk through, just not a fan of TV placement

I don't think I like the propane bottle location. If you're out on the road and want to stop by somewhere to get the propane filled you have to crouch under the overhang and between your truck to pull the bottles out and then you have to lift relatively heavy bottles back up there, all while trying to avoid hitting your truck and being hunched over. I'm not sure why they didn't put it where they put the battery, but I guess whatever works.

So I've been looking everywhere for this question..I have. A 2019 f20 diesel pulling this rig. Comes with 275/74r18 tires. Can I go to 37 inch tires and be ok pulling this? That's a 5 inch increase... thanks

We were looking at the SandPiper before settling on our Chaparral 392MBL. The big negative for me was the lack of any window in the main door. I notice that my Chaparral has similar construction but a GVWR of 14,500lbs, or about 1,000lbs less than this Sandpiper. Most of this is due to my Chaparral's lower cargo capacity. I wonder if the reason my 392MBL doesn't have a higher GVWR (and more cargo capacity) is because my LCI Auto Leveling uses electric jacks rather than the hydraulic jacks? Just a thought.

Some of these RV's are so big and so heavy at what point is a dually really not safe enough to tow them. Most Dually owners think they can tow anything as long as its not over max weight capacity which is not always a safe and stable way to tow.

Like how large the bunkhouse area is for this unit, wish instead of a third bunk though, more units would add a desk area to setup a pc/laptop on the road. I’ve seen some of your other videos where higher end stuff have desks as an option in the mid bunks, wish the common lineups that have a slightly lower price did the same.

This is a nice rig! It seems that with that length it should have 3 axles though. It also isn’t really suited for older kids that are tall! My daughter is 10 and she is 5’4. She wouldn’t fit in those beds. That is one of the reasons we like the toy haulers. She’ll have her own space plus a queen size bed, couches and her own bathroom.

Love your channel and videos. They’re always so informative. But I have to say the layout of this camper is terrible. They cheaped out on so many things like not putting a window in the door. The kitchen and den layout looks like they put everything in a big box, shook it up, dumped it out on the floor, and nailed it down. It looked like you had to lean over a couch to get to the control panel. I’ve owned a Forrest River product before. Won’t do so again.

That is the exact same design as my JAYCO Northpoint 375bhs. There’s only a couple things that I liked better that they did over JAYCO mainly the bunkhouse all that shelving on the back wall that’s awesome. But other than that the Jayco Northpoint is a superior coach.

So how fast will 10 people fill up the black tank? How many days food can you fit in that fridge for 10 people? What are you going to pull it with that has 10 seat belts? Also, that external door to the toilet just turned this RV into a public rest room LOL - I would hate to be sitting on there, door unlocked, when somebody outside decides they want to "come on in". This seems to be one of those floor plans that was not very well thought out , and again for that size, should be a triple axle ride.

No suspension upgrade, no whisper quiet AC (a standard on most big 5th wheels) and plenty of smaller issues and missing things here. Also there are plenty of "rumors" about the poor service of Forest River to make you think about checking other companies. Look for Jayco, Vanleigh (by Tiffin), Grand Design (bit pricey but great customer support) and even Keystone Montana (yes they have less favorable reputation than the others i mentioned but they have improved their quality in the last year.

Suprised to see only "one battery" and no generator. This unit will be really dependent on shore power to make everything work. And, yes at 10:24 there appears to be a "rumpled ceiling area" just off the top right corner of the AC that would be suspicious of water damaged.

Generators are usually options on all Fifth wheels, even the $100k and up brands. Dual batteries tend to be include on higher priced units as well....and some off-road designed smaller trailers.

So 30% of folks have achievable goals and determination to reach them...... And a good attitude about it. No offense, but which are you needing? If it were easy, then more people would do it. That's where determination comes in. Same reason dieting only works for 20% of people who try. Same reason only 10% of athletes that try to become a Navy Seal accomplish that goal. Attitude is the reason why the majority of people don't get promoted at work and stuck in their situation. Excuses should be a 4th reason. Instead of thinking of a great response to my comment, why not think of 5 things you can do starting today to improve your situation. I'm throwing it at you, just take it and run brother. Sometimes it all starts with a smile and trying to make others happy.
