Talk about your heel-face turns. When you first meet Zeke in Uraya and then later again in Mor Ardain, he basically defeats himself in both fights. Then you get to Leftheria, and Morag smiles as she reveals she knew who he was the whole time before leaving your party to fight him without her over-leveled help. It's in that moment that you realize Zeke is done messing around. A classic example of the Threshold Guardian that the Hero has to best in combat in order to earn his respect and trust.

I missed this moment because I got my butt handed to me too many times by random monsters in Gormott and by Akhos, so I took a full day of level grinding before moving on. Zeke round 3 was no more difficult than the other two encounters for me.

The level cap in Xenoblade X is 60, with no way to raise it, so you have to know how to make a build if you want to stand a chance against anything above that...then again, the battle system of the Xenoblade series has always been about making a build, and 2 is no exception to that either.
