The Plain Yoke Tee 20 by Le Knit (a Danish designer) ALSO says the "US 3 (3mm)" error!! I messaged them on IG though and they were very helpful and kind and told me the intended size to use.

Hairdresser here. Henna is actually still damaging. Not as damaging as going platinum or something of the like. But similar in damage to gentle highlights or all over color. Anything that changes the hair in a permanent way is going to cause damage. Henna can also be very drying. And never ever goes away (will fade though) it has to be cut off. For instance with hair your length you could be looking at two to three years before if will have grown out. So make sure if you get any professional services done you mention the henna so they know. Because it can adversely react to more services than just bleach

Honestly just wanted to hop on here and say I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos. I’m currently in Vet school so it’s so fun to see a med school student who still finds time to knit! It gives me hope that when I get to clinical rotation year I can do more than just study all the time 😅

Petite Knit usually has the proper conversions except for the 3mm. I've noticed the US-3 3mm conversion is wrong for most Scandinavian designers.

That's what I've been noticing more and more too!

In Denmark it's common to only have 2,5mm, 3mm and 3,5mm needle sizes. The others didn't really exist until recently with the import of more international needle brands. We even call fingering weight yarn "needle 3 yarn" because 3mm is so standard. So translating into us sizes is a bit tricky.

I thought this too! And also, maybe they then recommend US 3 because the next size for us (3.5mm) would be too big?

Do you use the same stitch count for the Oslo with/without mohair? I’ve heard some people say that you don’t need both patterns as they are so similar.
@studyknits2 күн бұрын
they're basically the same patterns but I was a baby knitter when I purchased them and didn't know any better haha

Another tip for straightening your yarn. Youcan use any sturdy object you have that wont bedamaged by steam . I dont have swifter so i even used cardboard couple of times as base and it worked great)
