Round 3 match 1, i think you win if you activate fairy mastermind instead of playing a new one, gives you a counter to crop. At that point you know you can survive the emrakul alone so you should have tried to draw for a counter effect to handle anything extra.

I was his match 3, if the crop was countered at that point in the match I had ulamog, emrakul, crop rotation and the rest lands. Crop gets countered I'm done for. He draws to hit the counter or draws to make me draw the karakas. If I hit the karakas I couldn't play it because I played a land already

8:16 note that one would have to fetch for the undercity sewers, and with the surveil trigger on the stack cast brainstorm and out a fatty on top. getxhing after the brainstorm qould clear the top of the deck, of course :D

Awesome, glad you were able to pull off a positive record! I like the direction you took the deck. Faeries as a tribe just aren't strong enough. Obyra and sleep cursed looked better in play than i gave them credit for. For nostalgic reasons, I wanted to see the swarm do work and in that sense, I'll consider it a win. Thank you Phil!

Phil, really... "the surveil land is cute in reanimator as you can brainstorm a creature on top and then surveil it into the graveyard, and you can just do it by a fetch land". You fetch, you shuffle the creature in the deck... the basics.

I actually play a blue black rogues deck in modern that’s very similar and it does quite well, actually. Bitterblossom and Oona’s Blackguard are shockingly good. Bowmasters is nightmarish, as always.
