Our 12 yo dachshund suffered w/ a bulging disc this summer. He could barely walk, we thought we were going to have to put him down (prepared our daughter for it and everything), but after two rounds of medication (which slowed him down a bit so he could rest and heal for a few weeks) he is even better than he was before and actually just jumped up on the couch as I’m typing this (which he isn’t suppose to do!) 🙏🏻 Praying for Rookie’s healing!!!

#NCOC Here!!! Love this Family so much. ❤ Seriously makes my day watching your family. We homeschooled for 9 years already. We have four kiddos and we love it. So much freedom with what you can teach and do. Plus our children have events and things they are in for the social part. It's not what people think that they won't be social with anyone. If anything I feel they have more going on now then ever before.

We love homeschooling and the freedom to do so here in Texas is wonderful. We enjoy waking up on our own timeline, rarely ever get sick, do not have homework taking up family time, and the ability to teach whatever interests each child in whatever setting we want (in bed, at the dinner table, outside on the trampoline, at Starbucks, road tripping, Nana's house, camping, etc.). Schools here have major issues with bullying, drug usage (elementary school), suicide, and burnt out teachers who only teach what will be on the state standardized tests. I can't consciously throw my young kids into that environment for 7+ hours a day, so we do what works for our family. Yes, its hard never ever getting a break. We do have bad days. But kids have bad days in school too. There are pros/cons to both.

Yes I homeschool and we love it and my kid also gets socializing in activities like sports art classes ect.. I love that it is safer then government education! I get to choose what my kid is learning and the flexibility is great!

This is our second year of homeschooling our kids! We love it and the flexibility has been great as I’m recovering from surgery and we could just take 3 weeks off no problem! Our kids have learned and grown so much in the last two years! Our son is delayed and even his team of therapists have seen so much growth in the last two years! I do not regret it one bit and yes, some days will be harder than others.

OG, NCOC here! Sending prayers and love for Rookie. It's so hard to see our fur babies in pain and we don't know how to help them. Love you guys! The trick is to, after the machine has mixed up most of the ingredients, take a rubber spatula and scrape down the sides. VOILA, problem solved.

We started homeschooling for the first time this year. We are loving it! I worked at the same schools our kids attended, so I have always been near them. We are enjoying our freedom! We can do school anytime of the day that it works best for us, and we get that one on one time. We did seek out a homeschool group, for social interaction. The thing they missed from attending regular school was their friends.

We are homeschooling! He missed it for the first few weeks! But now he loves it. I love to see his struggles and what to work on. 1:1 is always better then 1:30. We were going to go back to school in the new year but we are really thriving ! And I can’t believe how much more knowledgeable he is.

We have a medium dog and he was on so many pain medications for his back and we actually started taking him to a dog chiropractor (they do exist, sounds crazy) and he’s been on cbd oil and he’s been a different dog! I 10000% recommend taking him to one

For the dining table having stains my mom used to put stable this table cover on that the top was made of plastic and she would keep it on until it like got too worn or stained but you could probably totatally do that so that you take it off when there's company or something. For reference we were 5 kids in that house it was a lot-

Hey Chris there is a dog food that supports small dogs joints. I forgot what pet store I use to buy our dogs food. He died years ago from old age. I’m not sure if the food is lamb and rice. Wish I could be more help but there’s a food that could probably help your fur baby

I have a west highland terrier who is 15. She suffers from back/hip problems as well. I put her on supplements called Dasuquin with MSM, they are for joint health. They come in soft chews and my picky dog loves them. You can buy them on Amazon or chewy. I highly recommend them it has helped my old lady tremendously!

We pulled our son at the end of 6th grade, this year is the first full year of homeschool. It was the best decision we made, our son loves it and is learning to learn not for a grade. Half of what he is learning I am relearning cause I forgot it after I got a grade on a test.

I just got a job as a preschool aide and I’m in charge of the crafts and fun snacks and it’s been so fun little stressful change from being a stay at home mom for four years to now having 16 kiddos first year helping teach and it’s been fun and exhausting but so worth it and what makes it all nice is my daughter is in my class it’s her first year in school so it’s been a lot on both of us adjusting but I’m so happy I get to see her with her classmates

My old lady is a wiener dog and she has issues with pretty much everything. Although these are not a cure they help their bodies be healthy and strong. Give them Zesty Paws 11-1 dog vitamins I buy them off Amazon

GABAPENTIN can be given to dogs for back pain. It works WONDERFUL !!! Ask your vet. It calms the nerves & they can give you the amount for his size. And for sure, don't let any dogs ever jump on & off the sofa or beds. They make steps now that are great for dogs. Also, he cannot play hard, that is why the next day or so he is out of it , in pain.
