Hi Taz I have just brought all my plants luckily I can just hose off as no pests this year it was super hot and dry all I do is hose and wash leaves with dawn dish soap. They got covered in cement dust when having work on house maybe pests didn’t like lol. Benefits my plants are huge but finding spots in house yikes! I have some alocasia over 4’ tall with 2-3’ leaves like porta Dora, metal head and red emerald. I did get 2 daddy long leg spiders in house tho ewe!!! ❤glad your back making videos :) take care friend!!!!

Thank you, I am glad to be comfortable posting! Yeah your pests probably hated it. We had a really humid summer, horrible with bugs this year, I am over it to say the very least. None on my indoor plants yet. Fingers crossed. Your alocasia must have loved being outside. So did mine, I swear the heat doesn't phase them at all. It is crazy

It's a screened in porch, so pests are in and out constantly. It's annoying

Why put them outside if it needs so much work to bring them back in? Presumably there’s big benefits and I’d love to hear if it’s worth it.

Honestly, yes for me there is the benefit of turning my screened porch into my reading room for fall and spring. I am out there 24/7 in the cooler seasons. So I throw them out there for the comfort of it. My alocasia I so it to force corming. They love it. My philodendron grow really good roots during the summer. Anthurium I'll leave indoors next year. Not worth it
