Another big difference in the West Coast weather as opposed to the Midwestern whether is the density of the air. I went to SoCal for vacation a few months ago and I didn't notice much of a change until it was when I stepped back out into the Missouri whether from the St. Louis airport. Literally California whether was nice and breezy but then back in the Midwest it was like walking through a soup it was so muggy.

My dad would roll down the window when we were at a stoplight ( anywhere in the city ), a guy would run over to the car, and we'd buy them 4 for a dollar in a bag. Sure miss Imo's, have been gone since 1984 or so. My stepdaughter got the ingredients, wrapped the cheese and crust in one box (I thought it was cheesecake). Then another box with sauce & salad dressing. She gave it to me in Atlanta for Christmas, I cried, couldn't believe how thoughtful she was!

You have to hit the right Imos though, they all taste different. If you hit the wrong one it may be gross. The one in UCity around Olive and Woodson is gold. I do miss some Imos.

Great job girls! And as a lifelong St. Louisan, there's no place I'd rather check out of this life from, better than an Imo's pizza shop! I'd just keep ordering them with sausage and mushrooms, until the storm swept me away, or passed on by. You don't know how lucky you all were! Seriously, that's why most houses in the area have basements! Part of the deal in the Midwest!!
