Review of the soft hull inflatable boat (SIB), the Bris BSA 380. This is a 12.5 foot boat. My setup is propelled by a Suzuki DF20 AS2 which is a 20 hp, 4 stroke, EFI motor.
Let me clarify my remarks on hard vs soft floor:
Hard: (pros) Firm footing and does not need a pump capable of very high pressures. (cons) Heavy. Prolong setup time, metal edges around the PVC
Soft: (pros) Fast set up time, another chamber for buoyancy in case there is a puncture, lighter weight. (cons) Potentially less firm as far footing. Need for a higher pressure pump.
