Hi Ana 🤗 we drove through the Glass House Mountains yesterday and the farmers were selling pineapples 🍍 by the side of the road as they’ve just come into season…they’re always tastier (and cheaper) if you can buy them that way 😋

I don't have any in my garden, but they are always planted by the Return Service Monument in town and I get so warm and fuzzy when I see them 💗🌸💗. See another familiar thing. My grandfather worked in an office at the old Roma Station and I remember as a child going to visit him and looking out in awe at all the rail lines and trains … this was a long time ago in the 1960’s.. definitely not as pretty as today!

I was there when the Queen with Peter Beatie Queensland Premier opened it and I remember before that park was started it was just a big dust bowl and railway goods yard an amazing transformation big time!

Hi Jacklyn & Chris 🤗 We didn’t know the Queen planted a tree at Roma Street Parlklands but we just researched it and there are photos of it on the internet! What a fantastic memory ❤️ As a child, Beth remembers the Britannia yacht sailing close to the ferry her family were on during a trip to Tighnabruaich (1976) in south west Scotland. The Queen, Prince Phillip and their children came to the side of the boat and waved at them…they were close enough to hear each other’s accents! Wonderful memories…..
