Merry Christmas everyone, well to those in Australia currently it is Christmas day, haha! I thought I'd save this video up for the special day as a bit of a present. You all know this truck and driver pretty well I imagine, it was a personal favourite of mine to film so I don't need to explain much about that. So we had the Anzac Day public holiday back on the 25th of April this year and it turned out to fall on a Wednesday this year. I saw Shane doing the run at work the day before and asked him where exactly he would be starting his Wednesday Carindale run. I got in the car at around 4:30am and drove over to eastern suburb of Carindale which on a normal day is a good 30 minute drive but with no traffic I made it there in 20 minutes, wish it was like that all the time! I heard Shane roaring up the other side of Creek Road to me near the shopping centre and I crossed over to say hello. I thought it would be nice to see some early morning dark action as its really hard to get these conditions in Brisbane as even in winter its daylight almost by 6am. This is probably one of 807's biggest runs and also has the most in home collections too which is a pain, especially when some of the people are not old and disabled either, just too lazy to walk the bin out. I hope 807 lives up to your expectations, I certainly enjoyed filming this footage, stayed out for the whole run and boy was it a big day. As usual too it was hard to keep up with Shane and like my other video of BSW715 the morning weather wasn't on my side, constant showers coming through off Moreton Bay and being closer to the water than at home you get more of these showers than in the western suburbs. But by mid morning it fined up and turned out to be a pleasant Autumn day.
