This is a little gem of a camp site...first saw this on TV a few months back on the weekend shows. So close to Fernvale/Esk etc. Nice one 👍😎

What an awesome spot Marvin. You guys have some awesome camping near the city. You always make your meals look extremely simple. Do you have a cookbook or something? 😁 Very subtle product placement too. 😉

good guy doing good things... I guess I have to move to another country since something like that is illegal in germany...

@@ruggedlife basically "wild" camping in the nature since almost every piece of land or forest is "owned" by someone in germany.

@@Shoyeido Oh true. It is a bit similar to New Zealand. I lived there for 10yrs and although we went camping, we stuck to camp grounds and no 4wding in bush.

Hi there, Where did you buy your containers with drawers that you pack your camping accessories in. What size containers do you find best that fit in the back of the X-Trail. Just watching one of your camping videos and the containers are neat and I do like them. Thanks Brian.

Which containers the white stackable drawers or the black boxes?

@@ruggedlife Got it - thanks. For your interest, I keep my jerry's in a large plastic container (40 litres) NOW - with a sealable lid. I learned from experience, super-hot day (40 plus degrees), I had a 20 litre Jerry overheat and the fuel expanded and spilled out 10 litres into the back of the X-Trail. Massive mess to clean out. Took me 2 days to clean it all out properly. Cheers Brian.

@@cyrenacyrena3041 no worries. Yes dangerous to store fuel in car especially petrol.

Hello and congrats for videos im looking after a t30 in eu we mostly have the 2.0 l petrol engine any thoughts about it do you think is undersized after you equip your vehicle with all camping gear maybe a roof tent ? My main coners arebon long trips hownwhould it feel beeing only 2.0 petrol
@ruggedlife Жыл бұрын
We normally have the 2.5l here so cannot comment on that. I can say though that power loss is definitely felt once you increase tyre size, load up weight and put something on the roof that creates drag. I would assume the 2.0 engine would be worse.

Lovely video, I have been watching for about a year now since I bought my xtrail. Can I ask, I currently need all new tyres, have 215/60/17s on and looking at General AT3’s 225/65/17’s as I do a lot of off road in fields and woodland, will these slightly larger fit ok? Looking at getting the Pedder lift upgrade in the next few months too. Thanks from UK!

Cheers. Yes it will no worries 👍 I have been hearing good feedback from Pedders.

I've been running my grabber at3 about 15.000km right now, highly recommended! only weakness is thick mud, but its doing fine for an AT tire

Starting to look like one long add with every label to the front. Keeps the sponsors happy l guess and gets you more free stuff.
@ruggedlife Жыл бұрын
Yes it does. You have to give credit to companies who give you good gear. It's also a balance between that and putting out good content for your audience. For example these kinds of videos show camp recipes, some camp gear and most importantly encourage others to get out and spend time with family 👍
