I’m pretty sure we seen you at the entrance to Brisbane Port. We were floating around there in a Quintrex Trident 690. We didn’t catch a single fish yesterday…I left the bait at home and don’t have any good lures yet as we’re just getting into it. My 15 year old daughter is watching all of your videos to learn what we’re doing wrong!

Thanks Scott! Sharks are becoming more of a problem everywhere unfortunately. During the warmer months, sharks tend to hang around the end of the terminals. They are nowhere near as aggressive as those I encounter out in the bay and probably it as big but they are like all sharks, a pain in the you know what!!

Thanks for the reply Pete. One man's trash is another's treasure. We pretty much only fish for sharks so think it's great. I totally understand not wanting to get jew or barra smash up by them. Fitzroy River in Rockhampton is crawling at the moment. Got 19 in 5 days a few weeks back between 5 1/2 & 61/2 feet, all land based. Anywhere in the bay that you have more trouble? Your really doing a great job with the videos.

Did plenty of that as a kid. Cast net is the best way imo to get mullet.
