What a race! This formula deserves a much better spectator following TBH. Reminds me of the F1s back in the 70s when I started watching them.

Track use to hold F1 meetings in the past. Remember the days when the race started coming out of the bend before the start line, not coming out of the bend AFTER the start line

I agree with some of the other comments, I think the track is not really suited to these cars, yes there were some spectacular crashes but it seemed like a lottery as to who the winner could be.

Yes there slower and cheaper to run

Yes these cars run Rover V8 engines skinny tyres and costs are controlled, the F1s engine regs are a lot freer they run mainly Chevy V8s there no upper limit on size these also run wheel guards around the rear. That's just a few differences

Yeah maybe this was too small a track for this event lol Hope all the reports flying around Twitter aren't true and all the drivers are fine

Sorry to say this, but that was hardly a race, the idea of one of those is to race each other, not to completely destroy every other car in it. They may as well have scrapped the race element and just run it as a DD.

Tracks to small 😂 drivers using cars has stock cars 🫣🫣well done Grant Leather survived a proper stock car race to win the biggest race of the year 👏👏👏👏
