I remember standing at the Shelbyville Freight Depot in Indiana, waiting for a train to bring my cousin host’s stock in from other locations in the States!! The train I was awaiting was hauled by a Big Boy!!

I’m going to admit that I absolutely adore layouts based on British locations. But I also can’t help admiring the TGV in France.

We do not get a many French layouts at uk exhibitions, but if I come across any I will certainly include it in my video.

Great video again, I really love that broad gauge display (I guess it's in the O gauge 1/32scale), a perhaps a non realistic, different approach with that indirectly light from beneath and so on, but never the less, a beautiful and original display, a great inspiration. Which they made broad gauge in 1/76 scale like they make the 009 small gauge… Cheers, Danny

Many thanks for your comment, I think the owner of The Parlour Railway also owns Bristol Goods Shed layout. If I bump into him at another exhibition I will ask the question regarding the track.

Did I see an S160 on one of the layouts, which seems to depict American H0 Gauge?

I do like American layouts especially when they have sound.

Am I right in thinking that Tursley is modelled in 00? Or is it N?

Many thanks for your comment. Thursley is O gauge.

Yet again i have seen only one train with driver in cab and guard in brake van, others are a waste of space, with empty ghost trains. Disgruntled retired BR train driver.
