BRISTOL RECORDS storage bunker

This is tunnel #1 on the old Bristol Port Railway and Pier (BPRP) railway line.It is 73 yards long.It was used during the war to store various records from Bristol.There’s a good 4” of water covering the entire floor area.The line was opened in 1865 and closed in 1922 to construct the A4.This is one of two tunnels on the line.Tunnel #2 is here 👇🏼
