The gold scene was a reflection of her Thai roots. The crown looking thing is called a Chada(ชฎา)' it's a type of headdress used as crowns in Thailand (and some many countries in SEA) nowadays in Thailand we use it to perform a traditional dance called "Khon". The outfit that she wears is also a modernized version of a traditional Thai dress worn historically it is a handwoven Thai brocade golden silk hand embroidered & embellished with Swarovwski crystals designed by one of Thailand's top fashion brand ASAVA.
