The music video show him in straitjacket but even when he’s free he keep being control by the girl. It represents that even if this love hurts and control him, he chose to stay. He said that this song can be about relationship but also about struggle you face in life. For him it’s about being an artist, have to endure the pressure that comes with the success. More you become successful, more struggles you have, even though it hurts, he still chose to stay because there is love. His love for music, the stage, the fans and members.

Jackson said that this is more than a romantic song (it could be seen as a love song too). This represents the situation in which you keep doing things that hurt you just because you love them. He said that he's dealing with a lot of stuff right now, there are highs and downs but he keeps doing music because he loves it.

This song was just... I don’t know how to even describe it, just w o w. Jackson has my ultimate favorite type of singing voice. I’m a sucker for raspy emotional singing voices. I purposely avoided any teasers so I was COMPLETELY blindsided by the song and mv. Don’t even get me started on the mv!!! It’s just two people in one room yet it just hits you so hard, the symbolism is just UGH IM FANGIRLING SO HARD 😂 Anyways Bris you and I basically did the same thing, downloading the song mid mv because I didn’t have to finish watching it to know I’m gonna be replaying it. The song is amazing. He really outdid himself. The song and MV are a metaphor for the constant (unnecessary and unfair) hate he gets by the public. Jackson is loved by many, but hated by a lot too. And he's very sensitive to the negativity, he has always been. This mv basically embodies what the hate does to him, and the woman is the 'hater' controlling him and driving him crazy. It's really sad and artistic in a way too. I hope he'll notice the love he's getting for this release. He deserves to be happy.

I think the "demon/witch" is a representation of what made him that way in the end. Like in an interview, he mentioned the song about being his passion for his work and the song itself can be treated as a love song (so it can be interpreted as the woman he was in love with). But as he pursues it (work/passion or the girl, whichever interpretation you feel fits it), he was forced to be played with. In the video, he got tossed around and was played with. He struggles and his mind drifted to something much darker (as portrayed by the black sheets) and in the end, it took a toll on his mental health. It could also be, as whar Bris said that it was all happening in his head but it could just be a metaphor of a flashback in a sense. That's just my take on it. Jackson's MVs are all visually pleasing no doubt and I'm excited for his future work (also the upcoming album)

No.... the video is a metaphor for the way this girl (or thing) made him feel, you need to listen to the lyrics and not just watch the video. "devil in a black dress, they must've kicked you out of heaven." referencing a fallen angel, just like lucifer. he's saying this person or thing represented by the girl in the video, is evil. "i wish i knew you were an actress, i fell in love with your impression." he is saying that he was fooled by this person. she put on an act and he fell in love with who he thought she was, who she was pretending to be, or doing an impression of someone else making him to believe she was one way initially, but then her true colors came out. he then sings about how this person has so much control over him and how he was done dirty. and the girl has moved on with someone else, and he wants to tell the guy everything he knows about her because he thinks she's probably doing the same thing and will fool the next person, too. he's not literally crazy, but you could say she drove him crazy. she made him feel powerless and out of control, which is represented by him being in a straight jacket and all his movements controlled by her movements.

I love this song so much, it was stuck in my head for three days. Real talk though, as much as this song, video, and choreo is beautiful, PROPS to the women doing the choreo because she stole the show for me. The song can be interpreted as how a person you love is different from what you depicted him/her to be, and how that love can manipulate you. But it can also be about other things, like how people have problems and obstacles in life. The girl in the video represents those problems and how those problems hold you and your emotions. The straight jacket though is about what jackson feels and him having depression. Depression is like being confined in that jacket. So the song has actually lots of meaning in it.

The video was about Jackson having a depression. The video depicts him being in a relationship with a girl that was controlling and then she left him for someone else. And now Jackson in left with the scars of a painful breakup (him being in the strait jacket at the end of the video when she's gone). The women in the black dress was supposed to personify her control over him. This was Jackson's visual representation of his depression from dealing with Sasaengs and haters.
