3:45.... that's Jared Fogle. He was the spokesperson of Subway from 2001 to 2015. Fogle was charged for doing nasty stuff to minors. 6:35.... that aged so poorly because of concussion reasons that later came up in the NFL.

Halliburton won no bid contracts for the war on terror. They were charging $50 bucks for a load of laundry and $20 a plate of sub par food. The VP and others in government made a fortune. Raytheon makes Tomahawks Missiles, guidance systems and lots of other military tech. The pole vault over the Twin Towers reminds me of when the planes hit. People were jumping from the windows to escape burning to death. I watched it live on TV, saw dozens of people jumping to their death. R.I.P.

It's factually untrue that Dick Cheney profited from the war. He was forced by Halliburton, to divest from the company, when he resigned as CEO. He made his fortune from Halliburton, but he owned no shares of it while serving as president. John Kerry was fact checked on this smear, but many still believe it, because they want to believe it.

And it really could have been prevented. A lot of doctors have said over the years that if they hadn’t removed the barb, there’s a chance he could have survived. That’s a lesson everyone needs to learn, if you ever get stabbed or impaled by something and it’s still in you, leave it alone. Let the doctors at the hospital remove it.

The AT&T commercial had the man falling next to the WTC and it looked exactly like the people who jumped from the WTC on 9/11. Also based off the windows from the office scenes in the same commercial I would say that part was filmed inside the WTC.

The two World Trade Center ads ended up being tragic as the athlete resembled people who jumped on 9/11 and the second with the plane flying so close to the tower. Jared from Subway was convicted of child pornography and sentenced to 15 years.

I highly doubt there was ever a Raytheon TV commercial. That has to be from some corporate training video or something. There is nothing to be gained by an ad like that, since the public can't buy high tech military equipment. There is no Amazon page for Tomahawk missiles.

Old commercials, movies and TV shows that has scenes of the World Trade Center really aged badly due to the events happened on September 11, 2001 and when people look at these scenes in old movies, TV shows and commercials years later, it will give some people bad memories and PTSD.

I was recently watching an old episode of The Sopranos and caught the towers in the intro. I think they edited them out later but it was the first season. I know my reaction to seeing the towers is not about the actual towers, but the people who died and the consequences that followed, but it is strange how the towers seem to be the symbol of that scary time in history for me, maybe you, and many others who lived through it. Just those two towers in the skyline of NYC. That's all it takes for me to get uneasy and emotional.

Morgan Spurlock did the film on eating McDonalds for a month. His dad was my scoutmaster when he was 4 or 5. I worked three different fast-food companies for a little over 10 years as a manager. Ate it 5 days a week 3 meals a day. He is so full of it it's not funny. It made him money and got him a stint working on MTV for a while. When I finally sat down and watched it with another GM from another franchise who grew up between Morgan and myself. We were in disbelief at the lies he told. Fast food isn't health food, but it's not poison either. There is more poison in diet drinks than any burger by far. Burgers won't hurt you. Aspartame in diet sodas will damage your brain over a period of time. We didn't make Diet Coke, lol.

Tom Naughton made a rebuttal documentary to "Supersize Me" in 2009--"Fat Head". Also, Morgan Spurlock is an alcoholic. I do think the demonization of soda is just as misplaced as attitudes about other "junk food". What's "healthy" & "unhealthy" can vary pretty radically from person to person & also between the genders. That's why it's so problematic that most dietitians/nutritionists are female & rarely take this into account.
@user-mg5mv2tn8q
@user-mg5mv2tn8q 8 ай бұрын
Spur lock was also a vegetarian prior to doing Supersize Me, so part if his negative reaction to the junk food had less to do with the fact that it was junk food than just the fact that his body wasn't prepared for a sudden, massive, unaccustomed influx of meat.

90% of these don't belong on a list of "poorly aged" commercials. Most of these are perfectly harmless and inoffensive. If Cosby's commercial for Jello-O made a comment about drugging people or something maybe or if Fogle's Subway commercial commented on "cute kids" I can see it being in bad taste but most of these just star actors or companies that have since been disgraced.
