I would say the first clip had nothing to do with driving. That was mother nature having a tantrum and the drivers were caught up in it.

Kabir, you would be surprised how many people do not know their brakes or brake pads are bad! That can be a reason you see cars plowing into buildings or stores. Also another reason is people think they are pressing the brake pedal when they accidentally press the accelerator.

7:45 I think the main reason this type of accident happens is the driver is distracted or in a hurry and either forgets to put the tail lift down or they think they have when they actually haven’t. Still, I think some sort of indicator light in the cab would help as a reminder.

as a transit bus driver, we call that getting "Right Hooked". people try to speed past you and make an immediate right turn. Super dangerous for all involved.

I’ve seen that happen as well. There’s plenty of room behind. Idiots pass on the right as well even when that lane is about 2 arms length of ending. There’s no shame of waiting rather than illegally and/or dangerously passing.More schools should bring back Driver’s Ed.😊

Hi Kabir! Melisa here from Houston, Texas. You were wondering how the wind could turn over big trucks. Having been through at least 10 hurricanes I can tell you that wind is so much stronger than you think. I have seen entire houses leveled with hurricane force winds.

There's a bridge near me we call "The Widowmaker". It has a clearance of exactly 12'. Truckers ignore the signage, so the City put up devices to attract attention to the signs. All measures are being ignored, so her hunger goes on.

The wind can and does wreck havoc especially with big eighteen wheelers. I forget exactly where but in either Colorado or Wyoming there is a stretch of highway that there are signs to stay away from semis if it is windy. We watched one change 3 lanes and almost hit the ditch on one trip. The wind catches them broadside and they become like a flag in the wind.

Winds like the one that blew over the truck, are pretty common in Denmark. Especially in autumn. Tho most cars etc get flipped on the bridges. But sometimes something like in the video happens. Every time we have those sort of winds, a warning goes out that light vehicles, trucks etc are not to cross bridges. A lot of the time bridges get completely closed. Sometimes even the trains have to stop driving, since the winds can tip them off the tracks. The sad part is that sometimes the trucks are carrying pigs bound for slaughter and when the trucks flip, the police have to come out and put the pigs down.

Wind is SOOOOOO freaking powerful. So much so that a tornado can take a piece of straw and push it into a telephone pole. Wind is absolutely no joke.

We have several bridges here in Florida that close when the winds get over 40 mph. Wind can do a whole lot of damage, and if you have crosswinds on a bridge, it's even worse.

Living in the south plains of Texas we get some really extreme winds. Winds strong enough to tip an 18 wheeler are pretty common.

Crosswinds are those that blow across from the direction the vehicle is traveling. These are more dangerous as compared to headwinds (blows directly against the truck) or tailwinds (blows along the same direction the truck is traveling.) In general, wind speeds higher than 60 mph are enough to flip an 18-wheeler

I used to be a truck driver and ill tell you it really doesn't take that much wind to be a problem. It hits your trailer like a sail. Best case scenario is it just pushes you left. You saw worst case scenario.

You be wouldn’t believe how easily these trucks turn over in the wind. To the east of me is the Mohave Desert, gotta go through it to get to Las Vegas from here. The winds blow so hard it’s not unusual to see an overturned rig. I remember stopping and when I opened the car door the wind just yanked it out of my hand. I couldn’t pull the door closed it was blowing so hard. I had to start the car and turn so it wasn’t blowing the door open in order to close it. And if the tumbleweeds are blowing across the road, that adds a whole other hazard. The big ones can to as much damage are hitting a car sometimes. You’ll see peoples homes with tumbleweeds poles 20 feet high in front, you can’t even see their windows or doors. Mojave desert can be dangerous.

These are the wind speed restrictions on large bridges in my area : Level 1 Wind Restrictions - When sustained wind speeds exceed 50 mph for a continuous period of 15 minutes or more; and/or wind gusts persistently exceed 50 mph over a period of 15 minutes, high profile vehicles (i.e. box trucks/trailers), and house trailers/RVs are prohibited from travel across the bridge. Law enforcement personnel may also prohibit any other vehicle from traveling the bridge at their discretion. Motorists who are denied passage will be assisted with safely turning around. All other vehicles, including those under Level 1 Wind Restrictions, are prohibited from travel across the bridge. Law enforcement personnel may also prohibit any other vehicle from traveling the bridge at their discretion. Motorists who are denied passage will be assisted with safely turning around. Traffic Holds/Bridge Closure - When sustained wind speeds exceed 70 mph for a continuous period of 15 minutes or more or wind gusts persistently exceed 70 mph over a period of 15 minutes, a bridge may be closed to all traffic. Motorists who are denied passage will be assisted with safely turning around.

A little Texas driving humor For all my friends and family that have never ventured to Dallas, Daalis, or Dallus, here is an aerial view of one of the major mix masters (highways intersecting) that is fairly close to where we live. TRUE STORY! Driving in Dallas...... First you must learn to pronounce the city name. It is DAL-LUS, or DAA-LIS depending on if you live inside or outside LBJ Freeway. Next, if your Mapsco is more than a few weeks old, throw it out and buy a new one. If in Denton County and your Mapsco is one-day-old, then it is already obsolete. Forget the traffic rules you learned elsewhere. (Frisco has screwed everything up.) Dallas has its own version of traffic rules... "Hold on and pray." There is no such thing as a dangerous high-speed chase in Dallas . We all drive like that. All directions start with, "Get on Beltline," which has no beginning and no end. (It REALLY DOESN'T!!!) The morning rush hour is from 6 to 10. The evening rush hour is from 3 to 7. Friday's rush hour starts Thursday morning. If you actually stop at a yellow light, you will be rear-ended, cussed out and possibly shot. When you are the first one on the starting line, count to five when the light turns green before going to avoid crashing with all the drivers running the red light in cross-traffic. Construction on Central Expressway is a way of life and a permanent form of entertainment. We had sooo much fun with that, we have added George Bush Freeway and the High Five to the mix. All unexplained sights are explained by the phrase, "Oh, we're in Fort Worth !" If someone actually has his or her turn signal on, it is probably a factory defect. Car horns are actually "Road Rage" indicators - and remember, it's legal to be armed in Texas .. All old ladies with blue hair in a Mercedes have the right of way. Period. And remember, it's legal to be armed in Texas .. Inwood Road, Plano Road, NW Highway, East Grand, Garland Road, Marsh Lane, Josey Lane, 15th Street, Preston Road all mysteriously change names as you cross intersections (these are only a FEW examples). The perfect example is what is MOSTLY known as Plano Road . On the south end, it is known as Lake Highlands Drive, cross Northwest Highway and it becomes Plano Road, go about 8 miles and it is briefly Greenville Ave, Ave K, and Highway 5. It ends in Sherman ... The North Dallas Tollway is our daily version of NASCAR. The minimum acceptable speed on the Dallas North Toll Road is 85 mph. Anything less is considered downright sissy. It also ends in Sherman . If asking directions in Irving or SE Dallas , you must have knowledge of Spanish. If in central Richardson or on Harry Hines, Mandarin Chinese will be your best bet. If you stop to ask directions on Gaston or Live Oak, you better be armed... and remember, it's legal to be armed in Texas The wrought iron on windows near Oak Cliff and Fair Park is not ornamental!! A trip across town east to west will take a minimum of four hours, although many north/south freeways have unposted minimum speeds of 75. It is possible to be driving WEST in the NORTH-bound lane of EAST NORTHWEST Highway . Don't let this confuse you. LBJ is called "The Death Trap" for two reasons: "death" and "trap." If it's 100 degrees, Thanksgiving must be next weekend. If it's 10 degrees and sleeting/snowing, the Fort Worth Stock Show is going on. If it has rained 6 inches in the last hour, the Byron Nelson Golf Classic is in the second round (if it's Spring) - and it is the Texas State Fair if it's Fall. If you go to the Fair, pay the $15.00 to park INSIDE Fair Park . Parking elsewhere could cost up to $2500 for damages, towing fees, parking tickets, and possibly a gunshot wound. If some guy with a flag tries to get you to park in his yard, run over him. Any amusement parks, stadiums, arenas, racetracks, airports, etc., are conveniently located as far away from EVERYTHING as possible so as to allow for ample parking on grassy areas. Final Warning: Don't Mess With Texas Drivers ... remember, it's legal to Be armed in Texas.

To this day it is not at all uncommon to see semis & very lightweight vehicles blown over by heavy winds on I-25 & I-80 in Wyoming. These are natural wind corridors that are monitored & have wind socks on so drivers can see for themselves what the winds are doing. It can be quite 'exhilarating' driving thru the winds when you have no other choice.

The problem with these are they're already tacked together and creators who react already have their content subject. I've noticed that with Charlotte Dobre too, another favorite of mine. The first one is a thing of nightmares, where I live we have areas that say beware of falling boulders...like how? So I stopped going up certain parts of the mountains. I was able to find that they did survive in the first truck, they only smashed the truck bed.

Do y'all call when a big-rig (18-wheeler, lorry) turns in on itself "Jack Knifing?" We do in the states. When the cab stops going forward, starts aiming backward, but the rig is still going straight. It's a "jack-knifed tractor trailer" and it happens a LOT in Atlanta. I've never, to my recollection, heard any of the British reaction creators call it that. Do you?
