For those interested, CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Air Pressure. It blows a constant stream of air into your airway which raises the air pressure in your lungs, which, in turn forces you to use slightly more force to exhale. That helps with sleep apnea, but at higher pressures is also a treatment for Congestive Heart Failure. There is also BiPAP, which is Bi-Level Positive Air Pressure, it is simply an advanced and somewhat more adjustable version of CPAP.

I watched the interview where Rosanne made that statement. However, her words were taken out of context. The whole part she said before was edited out and it was spread all over the media. It wasn’t the best thing to say, I admit, but I think she was referring to the woman’s ability at her job, not trying to make any racial comparisons. There are numerous podcasts where she addresses this. I don’t believe she was trying to back track afterwards, either. She was trying to get out what she actually said, but by then, it was too late.

Most people don't know that Roseanne had a serious head injury when she was young. I believe she was in a coma for a while. That brain injury often causes people to kind of lose their social filter that nearly all of us have. She's also stated many times that it wasn't a racial comment and she didn't even know that Valerie Jarrett wasn't white. I feel like she was treated unfairly in the media because she has controversial opinions that are far from liberal PC. She became rich and famous for the things she says but the world went "feelings first" so now she's hated for those same comments.

@WolfsDE8 ай бұрын
James Corden most likely got this show because they were thinking it would keep the success after the previous host, Craig Ferguson had left because he wanted to do other projects. Being that Corden was from the UK, they probably thought it would work and one UK host would be just as good as the previous one. But, within a few months of James Corden debuting, it was clear it wasn't going to work the way it had with Craig Ferguson. Craig had a history of being funny from his days on The Drew Carrey show. He understood how to get laughs from the American audience. You could like him or hate him, but he understood comedy and it made him entertaining to watch. Especially being that late night programming in the USA usually sucks. Kevin Spacey, he deserves the wood chipper. Lost all respect for him. Predatory behavior like his is just horrible. Amber Heard....gross, go away. Michael Richards....it sucks. He was so damn funny. UHF and Airheads are funny films and he did a wonderful job in both. His racist rant ended him. I wish he had handled it better. He didn't really say he was sorry or try to learn from it, just disappeared. Bill Cosby...fuck him with a cactus and then he can get the wood chipper. I loved Bill Cosby growing up. But he was nothing like his character on The Cosby Show or the guy who was the family friendly pitch man for Jello or his voice acting for Fat Albert. It is all just gone. James Corden....the stories about him...he isn't getting another chance. Nor is Amber Heard. Danny Masterson, he is on his way to getting the stab stab stab in a prison cell and choking on cockmeat sandwiches for the next 30+ years. And he might not be done being prosecuted. There are 12 more known women he has done this too. They think it might be as many as 30 women in total, but they aren't sure. Including 1 known in Canada and likely at least a few more. They have no idea how many he may have done in Thailand, where he often went with Ashton Kutcher on vacation. Who by the way might be in trouble himself if he ends up being the one who has Danny's missing gun. I honestly wonder if the police in Thailand would try to talk the USA police into letting them prosecute Danny there.Thailand prisons are no joke and Danny would be getting it 30x's worse over there. Most likely, his international crimes will never get to trial. But he isn't done with the trouble he is in. Not by far. Roseanne Barr...she has double and tripled down on her bullshit, so she is never getting another chance. The crazy part is, in the 80's qnd 90's and 00's....she was a socialist. A true lefty who was fighting for equal rights and stronger labor laws and better environmental laws. She even tried to run for president under the Green Party ticket. Which is a left wing party. Then...something happened and broke her brain by 2015, because in 2016 she started all of the Trump stuff and went completely to the right and has gone down the rabbit hole trying to offend every minority on the planet. So she is done. Only the right wing hardcore magas watch her stuff now. I don't see anyone on that list getting another chance.

Good reaction. If James Corden apologized properly, taken responsibility, then been humble and simply let it lie afterwards, things would likely have been okay. Celebs have gotten past worse, certainly. He could even have reached a place later on, where he could openly joke about that bad behavior, and I daresay a lot of people might even think better of him for that. Lea Michele. - "Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you'll meet them again on the way down." Bill Cosby - My late best friend was a huge fan of Cosby's comedy routines (Far Albert, Noah, etc.). He was a genuinely Good Guy who would have been horrified by the revelations since.

It is such a shame he had such awful attitudes. It says something that Roseann still has a fan base in certain political circles. The comments she made should’ve been the absolute end of her career, but she’s still doing celeb endorsements of some candidates. UGH. Even $cientology broke ties with Danny Masterson. When they let you go you’ve really f’d up. The whole Cosby thing broke my heart. I don’t think a year went by in my youth that he wasn’t right there in my living room being silly. It felt like he was part of my family-like finding out your favorite uncle raped people. Some part of me still feels like he’s family but I just want to be sick when I think about what he did. They didn’t talk about Will Smith. He’s one I’d like to see get a comeback at some point. What he did was reprehensible, and he should’ve been arrested that night. But with a certain amount of groveling, I’m hoping he does come back, because I love his work-and c’mon. I laugh at Chris Rock too but sometimes his jokes do get kind of mean. I wouldn’t ever justify hitting the man but OTOH I guess I think Smith should be able to redeem himself at some point.

@@hebber1961 He also said some pretty horrific antisemitic stuff and behaved horribly when he got arrested right around the same time for DUI. I don't know if he has apologized at all or tried to make amends for his mistakes. I haven't paid any real attention to him since then. But he hurt and disappointed a lot of people. It even came thru when he made Passion of the Christ. They made it seem like the Jewish people, not the church and temple leaders using Roman soldiers were the ones to kill Jesus. When it was well known that he pissed off a lot of the church and temple leaders for exploiting the poor with hellfire and brimstone doctrine and taking the little money they have while they starved, the leaders were living like Kings with massive wealth instead of helping people. Those leaders didn't like it and conspired to kill him. Because his doctrine of peace, love, forgiveness and kindness with faith was against what they were preaching and that was to be afraid or be killed. It wasn't the Jewish people who were at fault. It wasn't the Romans, Greeks or Egyptians either. It was a corrupt church using Roman soldiers to do their dirty work by claiming Jesus was a threat to take power from Rome and it's leaders. So, Mel Gibson got it wrong with that film. Putting forth the idea it was Jewish people who killed Jesus. Not that it was combined effort of church and temple leaders trying to hold onto power. It would be like speaking against all of the televangelists preachers and pastors out there, especially the ones with a mega church. If Jesus were to see that, he would be speaking against this stuff. Not just in the Christian and Catholic faiths, but likely in the Jewish and Muslim faiths as well. Think Joel Osteen and all of the gouls on TBN and other religious networks wouldn't want him dead for the same reason? I do. I think they would speak against him and try to pass laws to allow them to kill him. Because anyone who speaks against exploiting people via faith is going to want to prevent that person from speaking out. Just look at the people protesting Scientology right now. Scientology and it's gouls are having peaceful protestors attacked nearly daily, the cops not doing anything because they are paid off by Scientology. Anything to silence those who are critical of the abuses of the leaders of the so called religion.
