He got himself ejected as well but trading a good but not great cover guy for at the time one of the best wide outs in the league gives him team a big win.

Hi Kabir... to answer your first primary question... YES... if you throw a punch in the NFL you will be ejected. If you step on someone, stomp on them or kick them, you will be ejected. The NFL is pretty strict on unsportsmanlike conduct. They also now have employed the targeting penalties much like college football.

I don't think you read your comments anymore, but Antonio Brown is the one that quit live during a game this past year when he was playing for the Bucs. Some people think he has CTE, because of his erratic behaviors. Also, taking your helmet off when you're on the field is a foul, considered taunting. Throwing a punch is an immediate ejection. Contact with an official will get you kicked out of the game, too.

"They are who we thought they were" the backstory is this , The Arizona Cardinals had lost the previous four games, but got to a 20-0 lead at the halftime, when the Bear's defense managed two turnovers leading to touchdowns, and the Cardinals then punting to Devin Hester in his breakout year, and Hester took it to the house. Despite forcing Bear's QB Rex Grossman into Four interceptions and Two fumbles, which should have won them the game outright, the Cardinals lost when the Bears Offense finally got a field goal for their only 3 points for the entire game. Losing this way despite their defense completely muzzling the Bears Offense for the entire game cause that tantrum.

A punch is an automatic ejection, even if it misses. Agreed, that it was more of a push than a punch, but it was to a quarterback. Flags are going to come quicker when a QB is fouled. 2 unsportsmanlike conduct fouls in a game will also get you ejected. The "let them off the hook" comment, I watched that game. If I recall correctly the game was decided on a punt return as time expired. Had they made a tackle or pushed Hester out of bounds, the Cardinals would have won.

The bears winning and the coach was mad. The bears that year where undefeated at that moment. The cardinals dominated the first half and most of the third quarter. But the bears would come back to win…. With out scoring one offensive touchdown. The bears defense and special teams scored 3 times to win the game. And I believe it’s still the first time a team had come back and won with out a single offensive touchdown.
@ofallmyintention94962 жыл бұрын
You're not allowed to throw a punch at all, which is stupid. Most of the time, if someone hits a punch, it's going to land on a helmet or football pads anyway, so it's their fault they have a broken hand...it should be penalty enough for being stupid enough to try and punch someone with full body gear.

10:45 The Bears that year had a good team, but their record was really good. I'm a Bears fan, but I even felt that they weren't quite as good as they were being portrayed as. Arizona had a decent lead against the Bears but then just kind of collapsed late in the game and Bears managed to get out of there with a win. I think losing in a late game comeback is the most frustrating way to lose as a sports fan...and that goes for any sport.

The thing with Antonio Brown all started at their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, when Big Ben said he wanted to go to JuJu on the game winning drive instead of Brown because he knew they'd be covering Brown. It worked, they went down and won the game, but Brown was mad he didn't get the ball every single time even though he was the MOST targeted receiver in the NFL for the past few years prior. Ever since that game he's been a baby.. He's a selfish POS and he proved that again this year.
