The UK population has seen its largest annual increase in size since comparable data began in the early 1970s, new figures suggest.
Net international migration was the main contributor to the jump, while deaths outnumbered births for the first time - outside the Covid-19 pandemic - in nearly five decades.
The population is estimated to have risen by 1.0% in the year to June 2023, according to the Office for National Statistics.

As he said, it is human nature for people to align with people of the same race or cultural background. Point being assimilation of multiple races into white is impossible. Assimilation of multiple cultures into English is optional. The more different you are, the less likely you are to assimilate. Therefore it matters who is allowed to immigate, and how many are allowed to immigrate.

What I never understood is why the rest of the world hasn't adopted exactly the same system. Why are only Israel and 57 other countries allowed to state they are Jewish and Muslim states and are allowed to protect and promote these but every other country is told it needs to be tolerant to every one else? This doesn't make any sense. Heck, most of the migrants in pretty much all the West, are nothing more than economic migrants and have zero interest in becoming a part of the country. The only place where there is some sense of assimilation has been the US and even there, the recent glut of migrants, has changed the attitude of the numbers of people arriving there.

The government is advertising in Africa for legal immigration because we have a shortage of scientists, science teachers and IT workers. Yet I have a science degree, a PGCE in secondary science and 39 years of IT experience and can NOT GET A JOB... we have a shortage of jobs not of people. Worst still is that the proof is in the wages.... if you have a shortage of supply, workers here, compared to the demand, jobs here, then wages should be up.... but the job offers for IT workers are at the level they were in 1995

The are some communities whose culture is such that they will not integrate - they stick together in their own communities resisting integration and have an extremely negative attitude regarding the native population. Among those communities are a huge number of violent radicals, MI5 puts the number at 45 thousand. These communities are growing while ours is shrinking so the situation can only get worse.
