MB14 is very famous in France. - He is beatbox world champion with his former group Berywam (the group itself performed in AGT when he had already left) - He was second on The Voice France 2016 and third of The Voice France All Stars in 2021, and sometimes he was not using his loop station at all. Even as a normal singer, he is amazing. - He had the lead role in a 2022 french movie, where he plays the role of a rapper/slammer who becomes opera tenor: it got some solid success in french theaters and was titled “Tenor”.

Hi D - MB14 was a member of the beatboxing group called Berywam from 2015-2018. Berywam auditioned on AGT in 2019...so it's not really fair for the judges to say they've never heard anything like this, although MB14 going solo focuses full attention on his talent / capabilities and maybe there were different judges in 2019. He is French national, born in Algeria - that might explain why you thought he sounds kind of exotic. Anyway, he is great - I find it hard to believe that Simon, at least, is unaware of MB14's background. Love beatboxing, love this guy and love your reactions.
