Britain's Most Wanted Found in Beach Hideaway

For a man with one leg, Richard Wakeling had a good run. Globe-hopping one step ahead of police for five years, the British drug boss fugitive finally slipped up in Bangkok, Thailand, where he was living a quiet life with his Thai wife. Let me tell you about it.
The Mob Reporter here with the story of a fugitive police didn’t think would last long on the run, partly because he couldn’t really run at all, but was really living a comfortable life of beaches, palm trees, family and friends despite being at the top of Britain’s Most Wanted list.

The 55-year-old Richard Wakeling disappeared on the eve of his trial in England in 2018 for importing large volumes of amphetamine, hidden in a rare liquid form, and wasn’t seen again until February 10, 2023, when he was bagged by police 6,000 miles from home. He was living near a beautiful beach and holiday resort area in Hua Hin.

Doesnt matter how much money you have..it definitely helps and makes a huge difference...on the run, but never knowing when your door might get kicked in, or you may get pulled over or IDd somewhere the stress is beyond belief. You lose it all plus gotta do the time plus Xtra for running.

He threw out the charges and they owed me 250 bucks for probation because I over paid. Worked out perfectly, and the Chief Probation officer definitely had a crush on me 😂. I swear I felt like a model in New Jersey, I guess they don’t have a lot of 6ft light skinned dudes with curly hair. This dude I didn’t even know told me in the courtroom that some girl was staring at Me. She def was and worked for the court. I wish I had more time in NJ lol not even bragging. This is the truth, I also met the rapper Max B in court 3x. Bergen county NJ, you can check the date he’s still in prison too.
