The venue overlooking the English countryside is very stylish. And the cutest antique flea market. There were only things I wanted to refer to, and no matter where I cut it out, it turned out to be a picture. The theme was a somewhat old-fashioned French brocante, but I think there are many things that can be imitated in terms of displays. Please take a look.

tarte tatin
Serves 6 people (20cm diameter cake mold)
・Apples (Granny Smith)-6 pieces
・Granulated sugar-150g
・Unsalted butter-30g
・Brandy, whiskey, or your favorite liqueur-1 tablespoon
・Refrigerated pie sheet---1 sheet
***Preheat the oven to 220℃ / 200℃ fan / gas mark 7 before baking.
1. Peel the apple and cut it in half. Remove the top and bottom cores with a knife, and hollow out the core with a measuring spoon.
2. Heat granulated sugar in a frying pan over medium heat. After about 5 minutes, it will liquefy and start to burn. Shake the frying pan to get used to it a little, then arrange the apples from step 1.
3. After 2 to 3 minutes, turn the apples over, add the butter, and simmer for a few more minutes. It is best to simmer for about 10 minutes in total. If it starts to burn during the cooking process, lower the heat. Add brandy, whiskey, or your favorite liqueur and water, then turn off the heat.
4. Arrange the apples in the mold. Turn the core side up so that the round shape is on top. Boil the remaining syrup a little and pour it over the top.
5. Unroll the pie sheet and cut it into pieces about 2cm larger than the mold. Place the pastry sheet on top, making sure to tuck in the excess. Make several incisions with a knife.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown. Remove from the oven and place a plate slightly larger than the cake pan on top. Turn it upside down, cut it into pieces, and it's done. Serve with vanilla ice cream if you like.
galette
8~10 pieces
galette dough
・Buckwheat flour--200g
・Sea salt--less than 1 teaspoon
・Eggs - 1 piece
・Milk (water is also fine)--250ml
・Melted butter-20g
・Water--400ml
* For baking, use around 50g of unsalted butter, cut into 5g pieces.
filling
・Olive oil---1 tablespoon
・Garlic---1 piece
・Mushroom---300g
・Sea salt, black pepper, chopped flat parsley
・Brie cheese (Camembert is also fine), chili jam, etc.
1. Place buckwheat flour and sea salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly with a whisk.
2. Make a slight indentation in the center of the buckwheat flour bowl and pour the eggs and milk into it. Mixing only the center with a whisk will prevent lumps from forming. Add melted butter and mix until smooth. Add water, spread it out, and let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours if possible.
(Fry the mushrooms while the dough is resting)
3. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and cut them into halves or quarters.
4. Add olive oil and crushed garlic to a frying pan and heat over low heat until fragrant. Add the mushrooms and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with flat parsley.
5. Cut the cheese
(Bake the galette)
6. Heat a frying pan about 20cm in diameter over medium heat and melt the cut butter. Add about a ladleful of batter, and when the surface becomes a little dry, add the cheese and mushrooms cut in half, and place the chili jam on top. Fold in half to cover the unfilled dough and place on a plate.
