I have to note that Connex Melbourne went into effect came into effect 8 years after Connex SC and Connex SE in 2003 after Melbourne sectionalized their railway in 1998, so there was no way to tell how bad they were going be. The Met was operating Melbourne at the time of Connex SE/SC coming into fruition. So if anything, Melbourne should've heeded the warning from London. The same parent company who ran Connex (TransDev) also operated bus service in New Jersey, USA until 2023 when they were forced out for similar reasons to Melbourne.

Makes you sound smort and interesting 🧠 Also I know you pronounced melbourne as mel-BORN, I've just personally heard it more as melBURN as I live in the australian state and my stepdad is from there. But you do you :)

Glad you enjoy them 😊 I really do hope to make more of them often at some point. Also I didn't know Melbourne was actually pronounced as Melburn. That's another thing to add to the list of various lists of places I failed to pronounce correctly. Like pronouncing Calais as CA-LAY-IS lol
