Yep, he's part of the performance. People are baffled how this worked but what he did was that he got both the judges and the crowd involved. Without them it would just be someone wearing multiple clothes on top of each other and stripping.

This guy is really funny last year when it was the last day of school lots of teachers were retiring so the the school did an announcement blah blah and then they put on this song & some of the year 6es had that yellow thing & started dancing and then everyone in the school started dancing!

The fact that Simon disliked him empowered him, he gave him the exact reaction he was looking for. He's a lot of fun and his ability to work the crowd is admirable. Actually I think Simon did it on purpose~ he knows exactly what he’s doing; he knows that his opposition is fueling the audience and the other judges all the more.
