Yep, he's part of the performance. People are baffled how this worked but what he did was that he got both the judges and the crowd involved. Without them it would just be someone wearing multiple clothes on top of each other and stripping.

This guy is really funny last year when it was the last day of school lots of teachers were retiring so the the school did an announcement blah blah and then they put on this song & some of the year 6es had that yellow thing & started dancing and then everyone in the school started dancing!
