That year in AGT, the winner was Shim. I felt so pity for him coz his act was still by far the most memorable to me. Especially the arrow one on AGT, which is pure skill from my naive view. BTW, this is an old video for BGT 2013, way before AGT 2018. Don't you find all guys look younger?

It's theater. All arranged in advance. Some contestants are actually traveling acts: they move from one talent to another. And the judges (some? all? Simon Cowell for sure) pretend not to know.

Long before he did an act with Howie he was on Hollands Got Talent first. Even though he doesnt speak he is probably Dutch as in Hollands Got Talent was his first appearance ever on a Got Talent Show. His last name is English but that says nothing I am Dutch and my family name is Smith also English. In Dutch you would april it Smit without the H. He goes from country to country where Got Talent Shows are, it is good marketing for his act. I have seen another who was on 5 or 6 different Got Talent Shows in different countries. It is good for business. They can do a lot of performances in a country, but eventually people in that country know of the act and he moves on to the next country.

@yiling-vf1ge Жыл бұрын
What you say literally cancels out all the years and years of practice of those people. This is not a joke. Obviously they have done INSANE training their whole lives to have the right to use other people EXACTLY because if they failed, they could injure/kill someone. There are people who do acts and perform on themselves and there are other people who perform on others, and it means they KNOW they can perform on others. After seeing that, with all their training, they can actually do it right and that they obviously wouldn't do it if they though there is even a single chance they could hurt someone, it's crazy, offensive and absurd on your part to say 'nah, I don't think I trust them'. The only acceptable (at least for me) reason to decline to help him perform is if you know you are a person who can't follow instructions. Because, just like he had practiced so much to do this and be precise, you would also have to be precise and do EXACTLY what he tells you, so you won't be the one who hurts yourself. If you know you are gonna be shaking and moving without being able to control it, then yes, decline. But otherwise, it's offensive to him and all his efforts. YOU would be the dumb one to think there is a chance he would do it to someone if he doubted himself even the slightest.
