That name Coconutters came into my mind today (bad memory now at 75) and had to look it up. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity, so nice to see such simple, old English idiosyncrasies and traditions that have gradually disappeared from modern life. Probably deemed as unacceptable, non-PC these days, yet I remember seeing African tribes dancing with whitened faces.
